 Hello Mr Hawk

Downloaded and installed your latest SCI above and the r2720 exe, renamed and replaced, all is well, now i have to spend a couple of days fine tuning my game. Very happy about it. I am playing an older version and want to see if and how visible the differences will be.
My question is about the r2720exe file. What is it needed for and what changes will be causing ? Please explain in a few words when you get a chance, i'll be grateful !

Did you checked this ? BETA 7 Change log (7th Oct 2019 - 1st Jan 2021)

 To clarify things, i am not educated, especially in anything computer. I can install a game and even add mods to Fallout 3 and New Vegas. But that is all. My question about the new exe was mistyped and misunderstood. I have always thought that the exe is the way to start the game and my question was meant as : why does it need a new JA2 exe since it already has one ? Now i understand that the exe contains many more things, hence the updated exe. Am i correct ?

 Yep, from time to time it's just easier for us to upload a new exe rather than an entire SCI or the data that goes with it, especially if the previous exe had an irritating bug or missed feature. This is also a bigger factor for Vengeance: Reloaded as it uses it's own unique exe rather than mods that work around the base JA2.exe.
