Hi guys, why no one plays ja2 multiplayer? If you want to play it just get 4870 version and radmin vpn. Yeah the MP is buggy as hell but playable.

Multiplayer..aahhh...where to begin....
Usually, all of the participants must be there from designated time to designated time and that usually doesn't work because of real life. Is it PvP or co-op ? I would like to play the campaign in co-op but then again, being a turn based game, how do you co-ordinate actions ? I suggest this plan but someone else wants it done their way. I see it in WoW, all the time.
And how many mercs each participant controls ? I think it's 4 mercs total. So, is it 2 players or more ? And it's a turn based game, co-op is usually real time. In my opinion, multiplayer in a turn based game, it's a bad idea. This particular game was made to be a single player game, period. If it's multiplayer that you crave, play Call of Duty. All that you have to do, it's to kill other players in real time, That's it.

You are wrong, multiplayer is kinda popular in turn-based strategies, for example Heroes of might and magic 3, XCOM 2, Disciples 2, right now there are thousands of people are playing multiplayer there. I want JA2 to be like them, competetive, maybe with some tournaments, It would be cool to find out who is the best player of this game. It's just a PVP (Deathmatch), one battle in one sector.

I know that i am not wrong. Playing a turn based game, it's like playing chess, you have to predict what the enemy will do in their turn. And that's for single player. Only game i know with successful multiplayer is StarCraft and StarCraft 2 and it's real time. I play World of Warcraft almost daily, it's a MMO, all in real time, with millions of players. But when it comes to dungeons, they don't want to cooperate with the leader's indications and suggestions. Everyone thinks he's an expert and if you don't do what they want, they just up and leave, not caring about the group, it's all about the loot for them. Everyone's selfish. I like coop in games but JA2 wasn't made with multiplayer in mind, otherwise the company that made the game, would have implemented it.
Besides, in your own words, you want to see who is the best player. Best in what ? In killing other players ? Is there a coop mode for the campaign ? Or it's only PvP ? That's the same mentality as the players i mentioned above. Everyone for themselves, no cooperation to achieve a victory as a team, united. I've asked the same questions in my previous post and got no explanation on what the JA2 mp is exactly.
