Enemy tries to reload shotgun. Open JA2: UB editor and remove all shotguns from enemy's inventory.

Game crashes when enemy tries to reload VC shotgun. So open JA2: UB editor from start menu ( Innonics->ja2UB -> ja2UB editor or something ). Open map B13.dat. Choose mercs, browse through all enemys and check their inventory. I one enemy has VC Shotgun in inventory, remove that. Go through all enemy's, remove all VC shotguns from their inventory and save map. Then load save game where you have not yet visited B13. Then go to B13 and game should not crash. If enemy's have shotguns, that doesn't matter because the game doesn't crash if enemy has shotgun as "random weapon". Random weapon means that enemy has no weapon set at editor, so game gives him / her something... I think...

Sorry for the inconvenience, looks like we didn't find all errors in the campaign yet. At least one more patch to come for sure.
Sector B13 hasn't crashed for me before though, and I haven't checked each and every enemy for the 'illegal' combination just for the first patch Wink

For a temporary solution, UB somehow doesn't like the shotgun ammo. It's enough to remove any dropable shotgun ammo from the badguys slots and the crashes should stop. The VC Shotguns themselves do work, but if the enemy tries to reload it from one of his visible pockets (those you can see in the editor) it crashes. VC shotgun ammo on badguys without the shotgun doesn't crash either.

And the good news: I've uploaded a fixed B13 sector to my site just now!
