I'm progressing fairly well in the mod-but noticed a peculiarity. Most of my "A" team have now got coated vests, helmets and, in some cases, trousers/groin protectors too. Where a merc has some form of coated head, body and leg armour, I noticed that if I then add metal plates to the vest I get a negative armour value. Whassup with this? Is it just that there's a flaw in the game coding and values beyond, say, 118 armour aren't shown properly? Or will a merc with a minus/negative armour value (I'm getting, like,
-84 when I add plates) really be as naked as the day he/she was born? or even worse, naked and coated with some wierd magnetic shit that actually attracts bullets to 'em? :naughty:

It's nearly impossible to go through all threads, so...
Using serch I found this one: http://www.ja-galaxy-forum.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=21;t=000254
"I think this is because they're using 1-byte signed value for armour. So when the 'armour percentage' tries to go above 127, it flips the bit that acts as the minus sign. This can also happen with weapon status for example. Anyway it's only cosmetical I think."
