Is there any way to get that radio other than going and getting the golden budda? I tried to bribe him, but crashed the game because a response file was missing.

Also, interestingly, when I get frustrated and shoot him, nobody on the base seems to mind.

Hmm, maybe if you attack him with a clustered group so that he'll be convinced he has to use the radio/mortar on you. Then you'd only have to dodge the guards' bullets and pop up from behind a corner in order to steal it the moment he has it ready in his right hand :silly:

Beware the civilian massacres, all of AIM will be royally fed up and the real 'reputation intolerant' mercs won't be hirable for some time Wink

Yeah, I've noticed that killing civilians tends to really lower morale, so I have tried to avoid it. Regarding Hannigan, I don't think the radio is on his body. What I find puzzling, though, is that attacking him is even allowed. Unless possibly at a later stage it turns out that he's a bad guy, and everyone on the base already knows it, but isn't telling.

I haven't gotten the radio yet. But I did read in one of the other post that it is used to call in artillery support. When I spoke to Hannigan he told me to get the Budda and bring it back if I wanted the radio. I then rummaged through his file cabinets and found 3 artillery requests.

Just how the radio and the request work remains to be seen. I am hoping to find out this weekend.

My SOG team is at FB George now and I am not able to get back to Tay base. Hoping I can find transport somewhere else so I can go back to get the radio and turn in the FB Geoge Log to the Colonel.

I will let you know when and if I get the radio.

You can get back to Tay Ninh Base using one of helicopters, BUT NOT the one that brought you to LZ Astro(?). There are thee more helicopters to get back to Tay Ninh: One is on FireBase Jydy(?), one on bottom right ( Sector N16 or something ) and one on sector X16 ( Can't remember what that letter X should be, but on map screen you see airplane image on that sector ).
