Hi everyone. I'm MikMan, and I'm also new here.
A few questions:
Are there any penalties for using night vision goggles during day time or sun goggles during night time? Also, do the sun goggles effect on vision range work all of the daytime, that is, from around 7am to 21pm? Does ammunition have any other meaning than bringing diversity to the game? With this I mean, do certain types of ammonution have different aspects compared to other kinds of ammo. For an example, does the akm(7.62mm WP) and the colt commando(5.56mm) cause different kinds of damage(without taking range modifiers into account), as they both have a damage of 29 but use different kinds of ammunition. And finally, in what priority order do you believe the following items should be organised: a gas mask, two smoke grenades, two canteens and a camouflage kit.
Oh, and one more thing. Does the enemy AI also have a morale statistic? I know that the last few enemies tend to run away, but does theyr probability to hit you decrease and so on?

Hello and welcome, MikMan!
A few answers:
Yup. Your sight range drops pretty drastically by using NVG on daytime or sun goggles at during night.
Next one I am not sure of, but I quess (or is it guess) so. Unless it rains.
Different caliber doesn't seem to make a difference, me thinks. Of course, it makes difference what colour your ammo is. HP(blue) or AP(red) and if you have already downloaded the Gift From Gods Of Gaming And Modding called The 1.13 Project, there are also Glaser(green), Tracer(Yellow), Match(White) and possibly something else I forget to mention.
And to organise... A camo kit, a gas mask, and the rest can be ditched. 'cuz unlike in real life, smoke is not bad for your health. And drinking from a canteen is such a slow way of returning your breath, or whatever that should be called. Me hopes you understand.
Dunno about morale.
Pardon my inglese.

Where is it possible to download 1.13?
Oh, and when determining what should and should not go into an inventory, it should be taken into account that Im currently playing solo with my custom merc, so inventory space is _very_ limited. Also, my mercs strenght is only 73, which means that weight is also an important factor.

ja2v113.schtuff.com is the page.
@Shatara (and foij, in case you wonder): I do have 1.13, yet I refuse to use smoke. Them snipers can shoot with a help of a spotter, or so I think, so smoke doesn't make much of a difference, does it? Oh, and everyone of my mercs can do first aid, so if they get wounded, they crawl back (if necessary), and patch themselves. Yet if I'm in a firefight I have failed... in my book a success means that I shoot first. And last. And everywhere in between.
Not to brag...of course, it depends on your playstyle.
Pardon my inglese.
