Nice work!

I have 2 suggestions:
1.) No need to replace an existing merc. With current 1.13 version you can add additional mercs to AIM or MERC
2.) I have German speech files for MIKE from JA1 & DG. Can you also make a German Version of your MIKE mod?

Hi,

I'm glad people started to find the mod. Any ideas where else I should post it on the forums? Also can you give me a link with info about how to add new mercs? It would come in handy as I also want to make Mike and Tex available in Urban Chaos.

As for the German version, unfortunately a simple translation would not be possible as I edited some of the wave files with an editor (that mainly means I mixed them). Only someone with great knowledge of German could do the same in that language, but I don't speak German. Also I guess the texts are a bit different in German, so I think totally new lines would be necessary to fit in the game. So the idea is good, but unfortunately you'll have to find someone who speaks German and is dedicated enough. Maybe the job is easier now that I created an English example.

Wow thank you, that was as warm as it was quick!

Now I'm thinking of an easy job making Mike available in Urban Chaos. I've just downloaded it and seen some other JA1/DG character's faces there converted to fit in JA2. As the faces are ready, now it would only require the same wave editor work to make them into PCs. I might do some of them later if there is a need for this, but it takes some time to do a good job, so it might really be a bit later.

By the way, do you know which missing old characters are the most wanted? Is there a post about this?

I'm new to UC. I've just downloaded it and played with it for about an hour. I haven't seen Tex there, Iggy took his place in M.E.R.C. How can I play with him?
