What is the purpose of this man? I find him in the cellar of TIXA, across the hall where Shank is locked up. He seems totaly brain washed, does he have something to do with the bugs in the Sci-Fi or is it something I have missed? Is he recrutable. Who, what, where? I belive Gordon was his name...

right, thanks clearing that up, it would be a shame if I missed some other great things he could contribute to the game. To bad, he could have been more specific about those creptius, like the guy in the wheelchair inside the hospital of Cambria. If you got one npc warning of bugs, you dont need two... He could have been a nice merc, a doctor or somthing, he has the looks of one... to bad, thats all...

In editor mode he's marked factionally as a bloodcat... an effect that didn't work quite the way they wanted I guess. Or just a typo. Do as the guy says and leave him to die in peace coz he has no info and drops nothing of value if you happen to "ease" his passing.

Huh. I wonder if they expected him to go psycho on you after talking to him so you'd have to kill him.

Gordon is a Vampire. Don't let your mercs sleep at Tixa. Or Gordon will get them. And they will become part of his undead army. Smile))))))))

Be cool for a mod. All those soldiers of Deidranna's that you have killed, become part of Gordon's undead army that terrorizes both sides of the field like the crepitus or the blood-cat's do. Have a new faction of undead. Smile They only terrorize at night of course. And pop-up unexpectedly. You would probably have to create a new zombie walk animation. Like the zombie saunter from plane-scape torment. Smile)))

They'd also have to mumble "Brains...." as they shuffle about or it just wouldn't have the right feel.

Do you realy think anyone would bother makin such a mod and ruin the game it self for what it is worth? Vampires? Yieeks, zombies would be possible with those animations available. But vampires... Naa, thats it... there is a line and youve just crossed it... Smile Time to go to bed guys, the lame ideas are waking up, ya brains need zleep... zz.zz.zz. . . . .

I was not being very serious and it dosen't interest me much either. But...there was someone a while ago that was trying to get a zombie type mod going. Any new mods are good mods.

And the Gordon being a Vampire was an old JA2 joke that goes back probably before you were born.

A vampire/zombie mod could be cool. Especially if it gave us a reason to use shotguns. Smile

norse

a vampire quest was included into back to business Mods

so there are even animations for them. They fly around and spit and bite...

the zombie thing was discussed a couple of times. But i think you'd need a good concept first. and such a concept hasn't been shown anywhere, so i guess there's no works on this, but as always, i hope i'm wrong in this respect and somebody is doing anything.

By the way dont think that because I only started a account a week ago makes me to young remembering of old JA2 jokes, it is the other way around my memory is dying by my age... Smile
I never paid interrest for them then back in 97 when my first copy of JA2 was rolling on my PC.
In fact that age thing is getting me worried, my wife is getting pissed that I keep ocopying the only computer in the house for playing good old games with new features...
I dont understand the woman, well whata he** she doesnt understand me either...

And yes new mods are good mods.

For the record, to bad Gordon is not recruitable, thats all...
