Might have a go at doing the Agents from the 3 Matrix films. They would make fantastic assassins Wink

@Madd Mugsy

I have made a working version of the Sam Fisher face. I don't really know who he is but I thought it came out pretty good.

If you'd like it you can either respond here and I will send it or e-mail me.

You can view it in this thread. I made it at the request of Raptorko but it turned out good enough for me to want to use it in my mod.

Khor, I am using the face and it is simply great and amazing Very Happy Really good job Wink (only sometimes when the small face talks, his eyebrows jump a bit strange, but he doesn't talk so much Very Happy )

I think I may have went a little overboard on one of the frames of his eyebrow expression animation. Maybe I'll fix this and if i do I will send you the finished product.

Thanx for the compliment and also for the face you provided. It is difficult to find good ones to do .stis from. I am currently looking for female faces that easily convert to Ja2 types. The ones I have come from paparazzi photos of actresses so all the females are very attractive and photographic. Don't mind the attractive thing so much (it is a game after all) but I would prefer that everything had the ja2 look.

Haha, I see on the first page someone mentioned anime.

It'd be cool to have the mercs from Black Lagoon with you.

Dutch - Big body, bald black guy with shotguns and revolver, mechanics
Rebecca - Ambidextrous, psycho, high marksmanship
Benny - Electronics, low marksmanship
Rock - low marksmanship, friendly

Yeah, I'm rambling on. I've been hooked on it though. Too bad it ends in only 6 episodes.

But that's not what this topic is about, so I'll just stop here. >_>

Just downloading Black Lagoon now actually Smile

I was going to start with Deunan Knute from Appleseed as I've always wanted her as an IMP.

But yeah the idea would be to get a whole collection of them from start to finish. All 169 plus the soldiers. I don't think I would be able to do it all on my own but at least I can start it off Wink

Also a good thing is that if I extract the Japanese audio the subtitles can be used ingame Smile

Yes! Japanese audio with subtitles in game. Man, I was actually thinking about that today and yesterday but didn't feel like menitoning it for some reason

Sam Fisher is available to download now Smile http://kermi.pp.fi/ja2/kaerar

The portrait is a direct replacement for IMP 205. Its just like the 1.13 single click installer. Just direct to your JA2 directory and away you go.

If you want it for standard JA2 then you have to move the Faces folder from 'Data-1.13 to 'Data'.

BL manga is better that the anime. And there won't be a 3rd season for some years, if it every will be. They ran out of material and since it's a monthly manga it takes a while to gather enough.
But better that just adding the BL crew a whole mod with Roanapur and all the characters ( maybe even the dead ones like the Romanian kids ) in BL should be made.

That would be good but I haven't the time to do a mod like that yet. I'll start with the portraits though and go from there. If the portraits are there and I can start getting quotes (though it'll be based on English translation as I don't fully understand Japanese) then it's not to far off a full mod. Only problem is amount of characters etc...

Probably more suited to a UB campaign or set of campaigns rather than a JA2 TC.

If you do portraits, do the women first!!! Revy, Eda, Balalaika and Roberta. Then Mr.Chan ( you can use Chow Yun Fat's face for that one Very Happy) and Dutch while the others aren't really that important Smile

and hmm the pattern is too small for my liking and it should be a little more horizontal if you can make that Smile

Bright. Maybe it's just me , but green text doesn't look that good on that background. And i'd keep only ony texture not two and different directions no less. I wonder how it'd feel playing.

I still think you should darken the urban camo a bit. Might not be urban anymore but it's more playable. And items slots are better off having their own less intruding textures, so they acutally stand out and the background doesn't swallow the item/weapon you have there. *whistles innocently*

As for the slots, well just take a looky at these and see if that rings true Wink
