Still. The background is too dominant. ( Even MM did it Razz ) I won't budge on that one. You might convince me about other things but not the slots. ( i haven't checked both Beta interfaces, but if they both have THOSE slots, i'm not using them - like anyone cares :DD) Still it's your interface, for your pleasure ,but you're showing it ( off Very Happy) and i'll criticize heh heh heh he =)

Bah its a common complaint Smile

Gonna do a flat textured slot for everyone! I know its bright at the moment too, thats changing soon.

Its useful to know what others like though because every designer is biased to their thoughts!

Its getting a redesign. I thought that trying to mix two different styles wasn't working so I ditched the style based on the old button system and have gone with my smoother interface design. It'll be a little different to the other interfaces as I have done away with nearly all separator lines. Plus I'm working on those slots being the right colour for the items. The current ones are a little bright.

Gamma is coming down just after the weekend and will have a preview ready on Monday as away for the weekend Smile

Thanks btw Wink

Next time I think I'll have a look at the mechanism before I go Photochopping Wink

Actually it would be possible to have the mechanism fitted to the front part of the gun and have the expansion area smaller if you think about how it could have developed, but hey it wasn't too popular anyway Razz

Well. I know how that gun works, and he actually removed the whole firing system. Good style does not help if it becomes an inert gun Wink

Even if the recoil springs and other stuff had been moved to the front, you are still missing the chamber, which you can't move forward without the gun becoming unloadable.

Call it a pet peeve, but when I see illustrations of guns that are clearly not working, strange things happen in my head and body, like my hands making involuntary movements as if choking somebody... Wink

Ahh.. It's a kind of personal "you and your gun" issue. Wink

Thought it was something like that. Your reaction surprised me a little. Normally you seem to promote initiatives and give both possitive and negative feedback.

I had a really good pic to work from. So they came out well. Took a fair bit of correcting on colours and detail though.

Got another update too Smile

Here is a revamped PSG-1 (didn't like the way the scope sat!) and a revamped 1.13 MSG-90. Kudos to the originator of the 1.13 MSG-90 image as it was a great shape, just thought I would upgrade some of the details and get it back to being a black gun rather than purple Wink

Your MSG-90 is definitely an improvement, though I'm not fond of the PRS version.

The PSG1 is nice, but the non-angled magwell and built in bipod bug me. Might want to give the new scope mount a try too Wink

I am updating the PSG-1 this weekend anyway. And I should apologise for not having the mag well angled. The Image I used as a base was a very early PSG-1 so it didn't have the current look. Easily fixed and thanks for the link. Very useful to correct the errors Smile

Wow I haven't updated my own thread in ages. Well I am working on a little project for those who wish to have a few more characters in the game. Haven't got speech sorted yet, but that isn't the essence of it.

If someone has the ability to rip speech from film then that would be even better Very Happy

LOL, it was the closest picture I have found that looked similar (that I liked at least Razz )

This is a little mod I am doing for myself, if anyone wants the images I will be posting, but its more my view of who I would have in the different roles. I am trying to keep it to not very well known actors and so on. If there is a good pic of a well known one though that fits it'll get in (usually it means they look different enough).

Yeah they will all be animated. Just making a collage of the ones currently under development (and just after remembering that stupid snow bug with portraits meaning I have to fix buns already Sad )

Here are the first few:
http://www.wmwiki.com/hosted/ja2/Web%20Previews/Multiple-portraits.jpg

The 4 anime characters are for a mod idea I had ages ago and wanted to do anyway.

The Conviction version of Sam Fisher could easily be a random RPC/NPC/IMP or replace a Merc.

New Buns - Buns (don't know who she is but she fitted the image to my liking)

Ripcord - Ice
Stormshadow - Dr Q
Baroness - Fox
Scarlett - Raven or Spider (undecided atm)

Will have to have a look then MM. Perhaps I can make the girl above into an IMP or something then.

Got Briareos done (animated too). But cannot make an IMP coloured to suit. Anyone with an IMP editor for 1.13? Need to make IMP have grey skin, black vest, black pants and grey hair.

... as long as she is not older than 16. or use her for flo - you'll than know what spec means with 'she was so french'.

sorry guys no, never buzz - fox - if the chick was older - okay.

buzz has a mean and grim looks in her face, i consider it lovely (if their is a woman in ja it'll be buzz), that this chick never has. this babe looks as she's running home: "but mammy i never knew, that i could get pregnant" - in case of fox: no problem.

but anyway: i prefer the original (and a-likes) drawn pictures.
