Well here is my attempt at a Boltgun. Unfortunately the Red was lost in the MD guns palette so I did a black with deep red highlights for it.

You can always put red or richly colored guns into one of the MDP#Items.sti files (choose the one with the most fitting pallette), you just have to tell the game in items.xml where to find the graphic (the entry right befor GraphicNumber tells about GraphicType, but is missing for pics in Mdguns, because it is 0).
Look at the SCAR rifles, their pics are in MDP1ITEMS.STI because of their tan colors.

And some non-guns are in Mdguns because of the needed pallette.

Here is a Breaklight replacement for ya all. I made it for Mauser as he didn't like glowsticks (obviously not a raver Wink )

http://www.easy-ad.com.au/misc/flare.jpg

http://www.easy-ad.com.au/misc/flare.gif

http://www.easy-ad.com.au/misc/flareanglemdp2.gif

It was off the emergency flare for Fallout Tactics which I believe is based on a real life style emergency flare. Don't know what one tho. I do know its a bit more colourful than the 3 pixel line of the breaklight! It also is a direct replacement for MDP2Item24 Smile

Here are a couple of Guns I have been working on.

H&K MSG-90 This is a remake of my black original as I prefer the Black version to Silver.
http://www.easy-ad.com.au/misc/msg90.jpghttp://www.easy-ad.com.au/misc/msg90.gifhttp://www.easy-ad.com.au/misc/msg90md.gif

Walther P99 Nickel 9mm Para/.40S&W I thought the nickel Slide version looks so much better Smile The laser one is especially for Selene as its the gun she used in Underworld.

PKD (Plager Katsumate Series-D blaster) The gun made famous in Blade Runner. I did it because I loved having that .223 gun that copied this in Fallout and have seen the Director's Cut way too much Very Happy

One Venom for your pleasure:

Weapon Type: Venom Cannon
Rounds: 500
Range: 20-40
It takes a couple seconds to warm up, but when it does - watch out! This thing is basically a portable chain gun. It slows you down considerably when you hold it due to its weight.

I have an idea where that gun came from !! (jumping frantically - pick me pick me)
Saw it last week: some guy in grey pyjamas with a dark-bar across his chest.
"aargh, where is it ?"

Ah there it is: Logans Run Page. I googled for 'strange gun' ->really.

It takes some acting-powers to look dangerous holding one of those and wearing that ...

Hm... i dont know but i think if the G11 production would realy has started it would be the still G11K2 variant. Why? Well if you look on most modern standard army rifles (not ones for special ops and so on) most of them dont have the ability of ataching several stuff to give it somewhat a multifunctionality. The G36 the british L85A1 the french famas the AUG and the M16. All these are standard rifles for the normal soldiers. so if the G11 would be used i think it would stay close to the G11K2 variation (perhaps with some internal tweaks over the years)

For the newer need of shorter weapons with the ability to have individual attatchments like the M4 now i think they would have designed a newer G11 wich would be much smaler and easier to use in close combat.

But thats only what i would imagine for the G11 if it would be the nowerday standard weapon in german army. If you keep in mind that there perhaps would be some more new weapons with the casless ammunition too. Like a MP7 variant with caseless ammo. Damn that would be cool designing new G11 based weapons (like what would come out if mg11 and the g11pistol would be optimised and not just prototype concepts)

-Ephiel

p.s.: I love the G11 <3<3<3

U.S and Canadian military now supply all assault weapons with rails now..they have to be modular and be able to swap on the run..so i believe if they produced the g11 and it evolved to todays use..it may have rail kits available to it..but i think the lower one kaerar put on his image should be much further back..its way too far forward(personal opinion) because one may wish to mount a foregrip and thats a bit of a reach for comfort Very Happy soo..cut and paste young Captain Aussie-Man!!!

That was the idea Very Happy

I had the idea when the CAWS thread came up. What would Mike get hold of to modify his personal G11 to make it more compatible with current equipment. So I went through my guns and started stealing bits off all the HK ones to fit (with the exception of the forgrip as that came directly off that 7.62 SMG style G3 you did cos it had the bolt on appearance).

Well I am redoing that custom G11 as it was just a rough idea and I will post up the whole family once I get finished with them. I will probably be making more fictional and modularised weapons in the future (probably not 40K stuff except maybe some of the Tau rifles). It'll be up in the next few days.

Well I promised the Modified G11 Series remake and here it is:

H&K G11K2 This is a remake of the G11 I modified earlier. I have made lots of different modules too so it would be a comparison to the newer weapon systems.
http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/7061/g11modernised2lr1.jpg

H&K G11K2 Carbine Thought some people might be interested in what a carbine version might have looked like.
http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/4098/g11modcarbinespx7.jpg

If anyone wants to have them PM me your email and I'll send the MD Pics over. Custom requests are available too. Any combination of the above parts are possible.

On the subject of remakes, I have also got a new Pipe Wrench (replace crowbar but the pics are for MDP2 not MDP1 so XML editing needed) and a new machete which is a straight pic swap.
http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/4692/machetepipewrenchbm2.jpg

and for those who prefer nickel over black I edited the 1.13 P99 to have a nickel feel (the gun was more detailed than mine).

Please delete these as fast as possible, they make me sick Sad
A lot of the G11's mechanism sits in the buttstock, so replacing it with a folding stock is not possible!
http://www.waffenhq.de/infanterie/g11schnitt.JPG

You may have seen the videos with the magazine moving, this is because during burstfire the whole mechanism moves backwards inside the gun.

EDIT: besides, the part that is halfway between the pistolgrip and the HK-logo is the actual breech of the gun, and your carbine does not even have that anymore.
