Hi all
Installed Windows Vista
Game works and files save OK. When loading a saved game, screen freezes and message stating ERROR WHEN LOADING GAME appears.
Any suggestions?

When I had that problem years ago, it was caused by the Intel Application Accelerator (a special busmastering IDE driver). If you're using any kind of "special" driver for your hard drive's interface, try reverting to the default driver.

I had the same problem. It has to do with Vista's wonderful security options protecting you from dangerous programs like JA2.
I e-mailed tech support. Right click on your JA2 shortcut, select the option "Run as Administrator" then "Allow." That solved the problem for me.
