Haha, I was thinking, JA2 had just about every type of weapon that you could want. Rifles, SMGs, HMGs, Pistols, Mortars, RPGs, etc....the only thing it was really missing was flamethrowers. It is reasonable to assume that the weapon types from JA2 will reappear (I hope), but I would also like to see flamethrowers, if only for the sake of completion....and the joy of lighting a building on fire to flush out the enemy, which might even be doable on the SS engine.

There's a flamethrower in JA2(at least in 1.13), you just need to add it to the game(make BR sell it or whatever). However it's a single-target semi-automatic weapon. There's even a flame graphic for the when you shoot it.

You know, I just discovered that actually. I was looking around at some of the awesome mods around here and stumbled across it. Anyway, I suppose I could amend my point to say that, at launch, JA2 didn't have a flamethrower. I'm sure that if one is not included in JA3, but there is any fan support at all, we shall see one eventually.

There's a different flame thrower in MFM btw which was bloody hard to make. Some peeps liked it anyway. Only shame is it just kills, the enemy and or flammable stuff like long grass doesn't go up in flames despite the nice crackling fire animation.

the flamer in bloody grounds and especially in ja2 vengeance kick some serious ass

in several russian mods, flamthrowers could even destroy objects and items
