Hey guys,

I've installed UC on my JA2 Gold Edition v1.12 and it works just fine. However the button for the Ironman-option is missing when I start a new game. Is there any possibility to play this great mod in Ironman mode?

Thx in advance from the white rabbit

short answer... no. You know the Iron man rules though so sticking to them would be a matter of concience. for instance I never save during turn based stuff, only in real time but that's not quite a hard as real Iron Man; tin man maybe!

Well, when UC 1.13 comes out you will be able too. See the thread postings here about it.

Or if your interested in helping Wil473 game test UC 1.13, or are itching to play with ironman mode then drop Wil473 a line. UC 1.13 is very playable at this point, but he is still working out some things yet before it is released to the public. Smile

You seem to have problems with everything. Wink I think you need some PC 101 courses. Wink

Also since your running Vista now you might check out what VAPE wrote in this thread, if you haven't already.

Also , when I installed 1.13 and dl and uc ages ago , it was my youngest son who did the deed , so I didn't look too closely at how , of course he has moved to Glasgow now and we rarely see him , leaving me to muddle along . Ah well !
damn kids :rant2:

1.13, UC and DL all have installers. What people usually miss is the readme line that says "You need a fresh install of JA2". Back then we got a lot of wierd problems just from the fact that people installed UC over their previous mods. Or UC over DL...

There are a million ways to mess up an install and only so few to get it right. Heh..
