Balime museum.

If you really need money read this, select the text in the entire post or press quote to see it, not sure you wanted that kind of information or if you know it already:

There is plenty of money to get from Kingpin, above 50k which should help you on the way.
What you want to do is do the three fights in San Mona and then kill Kingpin and his men. Don't forget to fetch the cash in San Mona mine

Fidel would be my choice-merc for in the ring. But he's in Drassen I see.
Haywire and Gasket are closer, but I wouldn't them without an energy-stimulant syringe.
(or multiple reloads)

In D5 there's a building with 'Billy'? at the door.
There's a NPC-person with a name-tag inside, I forgot his name.
Talking to him, you can decide to go prizefighting - betting your cash.

After winning you'll exit the ring - talk again - get your cash and get an offer for rematch.
(seeing your cash and mercs-contracts; you'll WIN.)
3405 -> 6810 (max. ante = 5,000)

I heard if you do only two fights, you can come back the next day.
I've never tried. (If I were you, I wouldn't try without - saving the game as backup-not overwriting.)

edit: "clearing/exploring the mapssquares around captured-cities would,
- be usefull earlier to increase townsupport/mine-income.

and DAY 6 !?! had me thinking of Reds "By. Gawd !!!"
You're doing better then most of my games.

Just my .02.

1) Merc payments. It's best not to let people like Fidel get to 21hrs left, if possible offer them a contract extension as soon as you have the cash. Fidel is very good and worth keeping so it would be annoying for him to decline your offer. Early offers usually mean that they will accpet them, late requests often mean they turn you down.

2) Once you clear towns you can go back to the Rebels and get Manuel etc for free. These guys have great LDR skills and are basically a free way to build up your militia while your main merc force is free to rain hell on the enemy.

3) SAM sites, clear these quickly. It not only free's up the helo to come get you in an emergency but also offers you the ability to 'draw a line' across the map of militia defended zones so you can effectively create a front line which helps slow attacks at the rear. You will also find some great weapons and mines in SAM areas which are useful.

4) Kingpin, your money is low so you may want to spend some time on him to get some useable cash. This will allow you to hire some killing machines and free up the free mercs to go build militia and guard frequently attacked areas or police up your equipment and take it to the front line so it's available.

5) Never leave an area without full Militia. You dont show your militia but if you ensure you have full militia in each area before you leave you will find it much easier to keep a hold on your towns/mines and after a few attacks you will have lots of elites with good guns who are almost impossible to kill. You can also spam the option to spread out your troops and also call reinforcements if attacked.

6) Fill in the gaps. Many area's in between the travel routes have recruitable NPC'S, great weapons caches etc. Explore everywhere. There are also the SAM sites as listed above which are priceless and pretty easy to take if you know the easy routes in.

7) The lazy mans way to get money etc is to simply sit in the towns and create militia with two people while training the rest. Money tot's up over time and you earn easily enough to cover your paid for mercs, your team will improve it's stats for free ( Ira can actually shoot pretty well if you increase her MRK skill as her AGI and DEX are okay ). The only suggestion i have is to take the cities in a line so you can defend them easily but you already have this setup so you should find it easy just to sit there and earn money if Kingpin is too much for you. Other than a few stroppy emails there is no real penalty for taking your time. For your map to be that open after just six days implies you are having no troubles so far.

Cool Mute IRA, her voice has caused many Jagged Alliance players to shoot themselves. Please, spare yourself her mindless flat toned comments. She's a good free character but must be murdered before finishing the game.

Hope these tips help, feel free to ask more more info if you need it. Seems your doing really well though so i would not be too worried.

Location: Far far away.
Take enough of a town to get income from mine and defend with militia but don't take whole town for a bit. The counterattacks are smaller if you do that. But you don't really need any advice if you're that far on day six.
