We've put online the new download portal at JAG and started rebuilding the downloads list. If any mod makers wish to be featured there, all I need is the link to the download they want included like this:

Name:
Description/Story:
Author:
Version:
Link to homepage/documentation:
Link to main download:
Links to mirrors (if any):

Also, if you think we should salvage some important editors, drop a link here. I've personally tried to collect as many of the old files and will reupload them soon, but I might forget something.

Indeed you do Smile Gonna upload them to JAG also and Fileplanet as a backup. Great work.

Does anyone have a copy of the JA2UC "Fixed Maps" Bearpit posted a while ago?

All big files are still on FP, I just didn't found time to rebuild the links. You CAN find them by searching Fileplanet directly.

Whenever I go to the JAG Reloded site, there is a banner on top that says

"Continue To JAG Reloaded: Planet Jagged Alliance"

but when I click on it, it just goes back to the Planet Network stuff and won't let me go on to the JAG site. Is it the site or some setting on my pc?

Well, would help if you'd state your browser type and version...
Those ads are not under our control, but we can mail Gamespy about your problem.

Should work just fine. I am thinking your firewall or some other spam filter or something like that is blocking it. Try this link just to be sure.

Nope - I temporarily disabled my firewall and anti-virus, and removed some QuickTime thing from my startup list. Even allowed pop-ups, and turned down the privacy controls (cookies) to minimum. Nothing worked.

I was able to get to the site at one time, but now cannot. I don't know what changed.

That's very weird. Maybe Shanga can figure it out yet for you.

Maybe it's a Java thing?

Could be. It might be a good idea to update it.

So you basically cannot click the link? Or the site itself crashes?

If you wait the 10 seconds does the automatic redirect kicks in? On my PC it does...

I can click the "Continue To JAG Reloaded..." link, but when I do, I don't have to wait 10 seconds. It immediately snaps right back to the advertisement.

This is what shows up in my address bar:

http://wrapper.gamespyid.com/s?from=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.jagalaxy.com%2Fphpfaq%2Findex.php&siteId=6251&size=interstitial&cKey=4763873-6709878811214842464535&docTitle=JAG%20Reloaded%3A%20Planet%20Jagged%20Alliance

or something like this every time. The preview does not show the entire line (maybe the actual post will), but it's much longer than this.

And when I mouse over the "Continue..." link, I see this in the bottom left corner of the window:

javascript:goBackToReferer()

It's like the Planet Network Advertisement just doesn't want to let go.

Whether I click the link or just wait, the automatic redirect does not..redirect. It looks like it's trying to go to the JAG site, but then it fails. It's probably my PC, but I don't know what else to do.

When everything else fails, try Mozilla.

Or you could get SP3 and IE7. That may help.

Found the (unacceptable, to me) solution - accept ALL cookies. Try blocking cookies and see if you can get to the site.

Done, but keep administrative stuff into administrative private forums... unless you cannot post there, which is a problem i should know of...

Regarding the downloads, I've uploaded a lot of tools into our hosted FTP account, but I don't have the time atm to link them. I'll brief you in the aforementioned forums if you want to help out...
