Please post here all the links to JA2 and JA2UB modding tools you host and/or come across. So far I only know a few repositories but I am confident we'll discover more with your help.

I'll start off with 2 links:

Kermi's Stash:
http://kermi.pp.fi

JA2.su (reg. link in Russian)
http://www.ja2.su/files.php

grab the two dotNET editors too, it would be a shame to lose them.

w4st's weapon editor (ja2wedit). 64 bit compatible binary.

Old skool modding on your new skool machine. It should work the same way as the old one.

Busted link please advise if you find a new one

This binary is compiled from w4st's original code. Only one small change to the code had to be made to get it to compile. Kaerar gave it a test run on his setup and it seems to be working fine.

PM me if there's a problem and I'll try to sort it out.

edit: File now contains updated doc, recompiled burst bug patch, recompiled ja2wedit, batch files and the original slf.exe and unsafedisc binaries.

Hi Shanga and everyone else I just wanted to let you know that the All JaGalaxy downloads Link 1 from fileplanet possibly contains a trojan. My Norton just quarantined a file called ti_beta.zip in the jag_downloads.zip because it contained a trojan horse. Can anyone else with virus protection confirm this? As Norton is a bit touchy sometimes please take this with a grain of salt unless we can get multiple confirmations from other anti-virus programs.

AVG reports no virus, but tbh, I have no clue what a Total Influence beta is doing in there... It's a wanna be JA2 clone, but aside for that... oh well.

Do upload the file to
https://www.virustotal.com/
(or any similar web scanner)
It will be scanned by many different engines.

The file is too big Sad 37mbs, vs the 32mbs limit on virustotal.com, I could ultra compress it with 7zip

I went ahead and just extracted ti_beta.zip itself and uploaded it to Sam_Hotte's suggested site 7/43 sites found a virus, the other 36 didn't give a result, whereas normally they would say clean file in green.

ti_beta.zip 7/43 https://www.virustotal.com/file/e2bed7f649325e68978bbf361268e7b3d3336ad00edce260c973ff685b3add3c/analysis/1330791230/

So I ran a scan of 10 files from jag_downloads.zip and you can clearly see that something is up with ti_beta.zip whereas everything else checked out fine

sorry for necro but anyone knows where are the STI editor and the other one to edit the dialogues?

Oh, God please tie this rope tight, A noose that fits just right, Oh, God please tie this rope tight, Hold my head upright, Take this knife across my throat, And make amends for all my lies.

Sti editor V 1.3.3.13 by Bimbo, last link at bottom of page:

http://mad-god.webs.com/downloads.htm

Benefit: allows batch import of all .bmp files in selected folder via the "Multi Add" button,
useful if you want to create big numbers of new multi page .sti files from .bmp's

btw,
madgod's Cosmic Forge Editor extracts specific files from huge .slf archives much faster
than any JA2 tool with gui interface I know, but you must have Wiz 8 installed for that.
(Or at least some specific files present in W8 folder structure for CF's checks)

In case go to CF main menu -> Miscellaneous -> Rummage W8 File Colllection and browse to desired .slf file.
