Ok. I have an issue. Whenever I encounter the bugs in sci fi mode. The game randomly crashes.

Also. I'm still having issues with militia. I think this particular issue is my fault, because I initially wanted 80+ person battles, 40 militia/opponent per side.


This has been causing me problems with random crashes. I have no idea if that issue can be fixed or if it has been addressed but again. I'm wondering if anyone else has tried this and had the same problems.


Still, the bug-issue puzzles me. Since I'm not sure why it's happening.

You're playing regular JA2 or a mod? Most likely a mod, but then it would be nice to be more specific.

You will run into problems if you set in the 1.13 ini to higher than 32 militia. I use 24 myself just to be safe, and have no problems.

MM 32 is perfectly safe too. I use it all the time with no problems. You can increase it to 32 for your games as well if you like.

32 is the current limit that works. The code that reads in the settings isn't very smart and will allow you to use more which will cause the game to crash.

Sorry, I was awfully vague, my bad.

It's an older version of 1.13, it has been modded however it's strictly weapon values/armor that's been altered.

It's pre-new inventory, so I'd say... oh dating from back in november of 07?

I'm in the process of updating everything to my liking in the new version.


the 32 entity limit that was discussed might be what is causing my intermittent problems with militia/opfor groups crashing when they're not autocalc'ed.

However I recently made it to meduna, and instantaneously, the game crashed when I sent conrad on a suicide mission..

So I'm really stumped. I can't imagine the changes I've made had any effect on that, with the exception of the entity limits per/tactical map.
