How do I train regulars and mobile militia?[message #207802]

I can't find any option to do either of these things. I assumed that if I pressed "Continue training" after the squad is completed, they would be trained into Regulars. But when I do that, my mercs just train another green squad! I have no idea how to train them to be mobile either (I turned it on in the INI). How do I do this?

First they will train a full sector of green militia, then regular and after that mobile.

So it is:

Green
Green
Aqua
Aqua
Veteran (if you have it turned on)
Veteran
Mobile

How many times they need to train depends on the settings in the .ini.

Thanks man. Thats kind of annoying though, have to fill a whole sector before training them up.

I just tried what you said, it didn't work. When I continued training with 30 militia in the sector, more greens were trained which were placed in the adjacent sector. Do I have to fill up the whole town with militia before training to regulars?

The entire City has to be trained to "level 1" Green Militia, E.G. Drassen 3 sectors, then when full of green militia they will start to train "level 2" Aqua Militia. Makes sense when you think about it...

Edit:Use someone like IRA with the Teaching trait or a Merc with high leadership to speed things up, while you can only have 2 Mercs training Militia in one sector of a town, you can have another 2 Mercs training in the adjacent sector.

Right Click when you have Militia to move them around the different sectors...

Yes, I forgot to mention that. That's one of the advantages of taking one sector at the time and then after training militia move on to the next.
