biff was a whimsey weakling - couldn't resist torture (by kingpin i guess - he was kidnapped when an unfriendly email by him arrived) longer than 48 hours. could do nothing for him, 'cause i was engaged in fighting swine-flu, or whatever that was, that came out from ft. dedrick.

1) Skyrider
Day 95 SR escorted to his eggbeater. (Drassen Rak had been taken)

Made to flights to Balime. (Battledrop - 4 Repairguys and Spider)

After the first flight SR remained in Balime and I could sent him back to Drassen empty. So I sent Barry back to pick up the 5 others)

After the second flight he deserted. (No line in history about a shot down heli or killed SR)

Is there another way to reach O1/P1.

2) Fertilizer Bussiness
Would like to know who sells the fertilizer.

3) M14
does this make any sence?

Ok You have to go in in daylight - If You only camp from night till day there are "things" missing

Hi everybody. I downloaded the NO mod last night and the translation. During the unrar process I got a trojan-gen alert from Avast.

The log points to: Mapconvert.exe
Size of file: 4096
Infected file ID: 4 last modification 12/23/2000

I figure it must be a language thing that Avast misinterprets. Anybody else got this? Also, your recommendations would be welcome.

Thanks,
N

Thanks for the info. I only recently changed to Avast.
I've downloaded from this site for years and it seemed impossible that such a thing would happen.

This isn't my first post either, it's just that I can't remember what my name and password were and I changed email. I do recognise some of you though.

Looking forward to trying this mod.
Thanks again,
N

Yeah , getting old's a bitch , you have someone to pre-chew your beef then ?
And don't let your niece / nephew have your pin number.
Or a loan of the car , just asking for trouble that is :geek3:

Hi Lockie,

Great to see you're still here.
Beef? in this economy.
"Someone to pre-chew my beef" I don't let anyone use my teeth when I'm not in them. Strict policy.

As for the pin, my only exclusive relationship is with that damn machine. Not likely to throw that away. Smile
And nobody wants my car unless it's Halloween. So I seem to have the geezer thing down. I'm not taking any credit, mind you, I've always had the geezer disposition.

I found traces of Scorpion's Renegate on the HD. I went to his bug page and there I was, bugging him. Used the handle Pax back then. Must have been a war on or something, that would explain the handle...

Well I got the thing installed and played about 30 minutes with 3 mercs. Can we change sides in this mod? That's where the fun seems to be. First time I get wiped out in Arulco. Lucky shots from lousy hand guns. Didn't see the sh*t but I sure did use the term. Smile

Hope we can change the amount of money we are allowed at start. Can't see myself going to war with a budget of $45,000. I guess 1.13 spoiled me rotten.

Cheers,
N

Please give my thanks to Terapevt for this great mod. And I thank you for the translation.

Being able to select all the new options separately when installing was excellent. And the new quests and ideas work really well. "Saving Manuel" was a tough challenge, you have to draw the opponent's fire to your squad for him to have a chance, he was pretty bruised and needed an extended stay at the hospital to fully recover - a free and quite useful merc but to get him you need to work hard.

Getting the vaccine for the virus quest was positively nasty. I think it could be improved by either showing on the map where the vaccine is as soon as your squad catches the virus (if that's possible) or by placing the lab closer to where you catch the virus. As it is, it is maybe too tough without checking the forum for the location, the health loss is quite a handicap.

I'm very much looking forward to playing more of this mod and see what else is in store for me.

first, thanks for this great mod. I was hardcore JA fan years ago, finished JA and original JA2 many times. Its great that JA series gaming and moding is still active Smile I finished JA in few weeks and started JA2 with night ops few days ago. Im playing with JA2 gold patched to 1.12 and Night Ops official English translation by inshy (thanks for great translation work).

I have one problem - I cant find Skyrider anywhere near Drassen(I know sectors where he should be in original JA2). Maybe someone can give me a hint is there still notice, if some of my mercs shows him traveling through the sectors? Or can skyrider be located somewhere else? I dont want to know excact sectors (spolis the game), hint would be ok. Just wondering is it a bug or is pilot hidden somewhere else. Thanks in advance!

Ouch, a game without Skyrider? Tough... Well, the mod is pretty tough anyway. I've now cleared out the top half of the map. Silenced weapons certainly help - start with the Tiss, move onto the P90 and then the Val. Maybe next time I'll try for an all ambidextrous squad with two silenced guns each.
