From a basic check of the code it looks like I was right - this is the same problem that was already fixed in the MP branch. The fix simply hasn't made it back into the main 1.13 version yet. It's only available with the MP download and the new 1.13 closed BETA.

The result of the bug is that Mobile Militia remain stationary on half the map (the bottom half).

I don't want to choke the forums with a simple question thread and this place seems appropriate, so:

I'm wondering how you can edit the HAM xml files. For instance, the new version has an xml to alter enemy uniform colors. I have tried to edit it using notepad to no avail (no effect in game, anyhow). Also the 1.13 xml editor does not seem to be able to access it to edit.

notepad++ is the way i do it (it really works fine) and you need to alter the correct file - i advise you to copy the files you want to alter (with their tree) to profiles\*the profile you use(it's the one where your saves are) and alter those - thise way you cannot blast your installation

notepad++

@ Ferhago:

If changes don't seem to have any effect in-game, it's likely that you're editing the wrong files, in other words, the files you're editing are in the wrong place.

However, do note that in the particular case of the Uniform XMLs - changes you make will mostly take place when starting a new game or when refreshing sector data. That means, if you load existing savegames, the changes will only have effect once the current sector is unloaded from memory and another sector is loaded.

thanks both. Used notepad++ and edited the files in the 1.13 data folder instead of the vanilla data folder and it worked swimmingly.
