Hello, i was wondering if anyone has had this same problem and maybe has a solution for it... i was in the middle of platying the game, all the sudden it crashed... i figured it would n ot be a problem , as the game has been crashing intermittently, so i rebooted it and went to load my save game, it will load the red bar all the way, then the blue bar but once the blue bar is completed it just sits there... and i can't seem to do anything, any suggestions?

Hi,
got a similar problem with the save-games.
JA 2 crashed. Restarted the game and couldn't load the last savegame.
Now, it was no problem to load an older savegame, will load just fine, but from this point on, any new save won't load.
Even re-installed. Any idea what to do?
I installed 1.13 on JA 2 Gold patched to 1.12, got the 2085 Release.
Oh, btw, the binoculars, are they for the ambiance or do they have a use?

@HalfElf
Try running JA2 using Administrator privileges.
The binoculars do have a use. When you have them in the hand slot just look around the map. You can spot enemies at a longer distance.

Thanks, didn't work though. Well, then I'll start a new game and hope that it won't occur again.
Great idea these binoculars, used to have one sniper in a squad. Comes in handy
