whats it for?
i figured it must be important as the only person who couls unloc the cabin in O9 omerta was trevor.
i heard somewhere that it was an underground floorboard but can't seem to find where it is.
is it anythnig to do with trhe completely empty houses in the square?

the description says
"this is to control something from a distance.It only has one button though"

 There are two separate items you could be referring to.

There is a remote control that is worn in a head slot, which is used to control...an object. I won't give it away, but see if you can find a person named 'Madlab'. He's hiding somewhere in the country in a barn.

The other remote control is found in Meduna in the Queen's gardens. You can use it at the middle of the garden maze to open a secret underground passageway that leads into the Queen's throne room in the palace.
