Well i wanted to put a screenie of my problem in this post but i can't figure out how. Anyway i'm getting an error everytime i save lately saying that i only have 12 mb of space and ja2 needs 20 mb. But i have 60 GB of free space on my hard drive.......

a few saves later and now it's saying 7 mb:(

up it to some place like imageshag and link it to the forums - your problem refers to ram not rom

copy somthing bigger than 12 mb to your harddrive -> then it will be okay again.

if You have this error you must copy something bigger than the false rest of the particular hd/partition.

JA2 UB/Vanilla does'nt recognize "big HDs properly, so anything You have to do is "stealing" the "rest" of the HD away.

Well i decided to do the opposite and uninstalled a bunch of games I don't play and this fixed the problem.

Ja2 & it's mods are very greedy games in ram terms sometimes... the longer between saves the more temp stuff it has to store, and the more likely it will fall over when faced with a deadlock or a lighting/sound/render clash. Save often. After that getting rid off stuff you don't use in game (the junk) is a good idea.

Getting rid of stuff you don't use on the PC is also always a good idea. So is a regular defrag. Data cleanup and general good housekeeping.

I usually have Photoshop CS4 running when I am playing JA2 Surprised
