Hello Kaerar

That's because I have not uploaded it yet!

If you read the other post I did just before this one, you will see that I was requesting advice on should I post what I have done to date (which is the above changes), or did people want me to actually finish it before posting?
As I still have several more weeks of work to be done, and frankly, I'm getting frustrated with trying to fix DBB's many small problems, and would rather just post as is.
But then again, I have yet to tackle the enemy drops and Merc starting equipment, so if I did just post what I have done to date, people would be playing with my v4 Item drops, so none of the new stuff from DBB906-10, or mine, would show up outside of a shop.
Well except for Ira's new Astra 400, Tex's new cowboy hat, and Raven's Sniper vest, those I have added to the respective merc's starting equipment.

Link to Possum DBB v5 alpha.

http://www.esnips.com/web/Jaggedalliance2V113Mods

Found some more bugs late last night that I have not fixed yet, but will for the beta.
Some match ammo loads have inconsistent range modifiers.
Some Subsonic ammo loads have inconsistent noise modifiers.

I haven't really played around with it much yet, but it looks pretty damn good for an alpha!

That said, AIM members' starting equipment might be a little much, as now I typically can't hire more than one low-end merc in addition to my IMP simply because they come with $15k in gear! Oddly, Hitman came with a Weesatch vest, but damn if only one pocket was actually useful for him at the start.

Also, not sure if it's a bug or by design, but Tony's suddenly being a real prick about not accepting much for trade. My first visit he wouldn't accept about half the guns I brought him.

Otherwise, pretty sweet so far!

alot of the changes are cool..i especially like the tool roll..but..i despise the scope/range values..my imp with a C-7..7x scope gun barrel extender and match ammo can make head shots at 1 kilometer(range 100-ish)...thats a 5.56 assault rifle..range 100..headshots..dead..his gun is on steroids with a touch of paprika for seasoning O>O
i like alot of the lbe pocket changes also..some of the new items and ammo are cool..but is funny to watch one of my imps shoot off 15 rounds of 9mm tracer from her colt smg and watching em go poof poof poof each shot Very Happy

about the tool roll...thats something that should be in standard 1.13..its mroe realistic as something taken into the field than a big glaring red box Very Happy

no..possum is a unique mod created using dbb-mod as a base..my mini alterations were for dbb-mod 909..to apply it to possums would destroy his work..i am in the midst of creating a total comprehensive TbirdDbbV1..which i'll post in its own thread soon...it to..will not be possum compatable..it'll strictly be a complete redo of dbb 909

Very excited to see this mod finally out, and glad you decided to release now instead of waiting till it's complete. Now if only a certain computer manufacturer hadn't released a line of laptops in which the graphics chipset overheats and eventually kills the motherboard, I could start playing...

Not so much a bug as a quirk, while the ghillie hood and jacket attach to various helmets and armor vests, the attachment works the other way around for the ghillie leggings. That is, you attach various armored pants to the ghillie leggings instead of the way you do it for the hood and vest. (I noticed this behaviour with the camo pants as well.)

To me it is somewhat unintuitive that the different pieces of the ghillie gear don't all behave the same way.

EDIT1: Also, the AR57 16" allowed me to attach a 30-round 5.56 C-mag adapter to it, but understandably the game crashed when I tried loading the result with actual ammo. Very Happy

EDIT2: It is also unintuitive for packs with pockets showing a LAW silhouette to not actually be able to fit one!

Tony is getting really picky about what I can sell to him, weapons like FAMAS G1, Desert Eagle .44 LE, S&W Model 627, S&W M&P40, H&K 33EA2, Armalite AR-18... I can list tons of guns that Tony won't buy!!! Help!!!This makes going to him for money really difficult...

Yeah, it makes hauling a bunch of guns to him all that more riskier, as you might only get to sell some of them, and the sheer number of guns in the mod makes it difficult to remember what he will take and what he won't.

A couple more potential bugs or oversights you might want to take a look at, Oldpossum:

1. The VP70 stock that Bobby Rays sells ends up at the end of the LBE Gear section if you filter the Misc category for LBE Gear.

2. The inventory pic for the F2000 shows a silencer, and looks a lot different from the big item pic. Mind you, my install is quite likely borked, but it might not be and doesn't hurt to take a look.

3. Jake in Estoni sells fuel for the low, low price of $1 per jerry can, and while he might be trying to help you out, it just seems way too cheap a price for such a rare commodity.

This should not be wrong, seeing that the stock for the VP-70 also doubles as that pistol's holster.
But I wonder if it works properly as an attachment to the pistol if it is a LBE-Item at the same time...

How utterly strange! But you're right, it works as an LBE item and correctly as an attachment to the pistol!

Can anybody think of a better name to describe a weapon that comes with a bunch of attachments than 'Fully Armed'? Would it make sense to just add the word 'MOD' at the end, to bring to mind the SOPMOD? How about 'Kitted', 'Pimped' or even just an asterisk tacked onto the end of its name to indicate that this weapon is somehow different, and simply spell out all its attachments in its description?

Any better ideas out there?

If it CTDs when you right-click on an item in inventory, it's most likely a messed-up install, as you'll be missing a bigpic for the item. Time to reinstall, I think..

Bunkerfurst or Panzefust 600. Also by adding a Bunkerfurst

mate, that thing is spelled "Bunkerfaust" and "Panzerfaust" correctly! Why is it so hard to look up and remember the correct spelling of german names? the letters and their position in a word do actually matter in the german language, you know?
