Hi,

After 10 years I have just installed JA2 (dutch version) again.
But I remember from before that I need to update some Tilecache files, so I do not get grenade bugs. Now I am looking down on the internet, but it is very difficult to find these files.

Can anyone tell me where I can get these TILECACHE files? Appreciate it very much.

Hi Burst, In Data\Tilecache are 143 files. I hate to frustrate you but chances are something didn't go right with your install, meaning once we fix the tile cache problem, something else will come up not working.

I suggest you try to re-install from scratch, meaning delete everything (or uninstall) and try again.

If you still feel that the tile cache files will solve your problem, then send me a personal email with your email address and I'll email you a zip file. I just ziped the folder and the resulting file is 857,988 bytes.

 The Dutch version was - for some reason - distributed with a lot of missing Tilecache files. I made a patch for this years ago and still have it (it only contains the missing files and not the whole Tilecache contents so the download size is pretty small).

If you need it, E-Mail me. I think Kermi might have it on his site as well and that could be faster.

Could you guys maybe sticky a thread explaining this? Our Dutch friends come on four or five times a year with this same problem. If it seems too much a hassle for such an easily answered question I understand though.
