there is an editor that looks superb - it's called redactorETD.exe (and i bet that scorpio has his hands in it - redaktor is swiss-german for redakteur = editor) it can be found here - unforetunately it's russian.

1. is there anyone (hint, hint inshy) who could translate it or make a pdf how it's used (too many ???)
2. @ the scorpion/smiling assassin: is there a german or english version?

features:

redaktorEDT allows you to c/p all lines from/into one ###.edt-file (instead of doing that line by line)
as it looks it can also handle ###.npc-files

if i'm right this one is The Great Unified Editor, but i don't know whether i'm right or not

redaktorEDT is too old and not good for most of edts. use new editor from bugmonster

can someone please tell me how to support russian letters on a german win-xp-pro - as i'm getting tons of questionmarks i can't even babble-fish it
