locked the 910 thread..its old school..time for the new..i finally got the full 911 in 7z..or z7..blah form and can post it here..its goofy..there are two executables..one chinese denoted by the cn in the name and one english denoted by the en in the name..make sure you know which one your using..as for the rest of goofy stuff in there..am fiddling still and will eventually give proper install instructions as the instructions on the site i got this off of is in chinese and using my translator i get alot of good feeling fly fish free with luck goobledeegook come out of it..too flowery dude..here ya go..enjoy

http://www.esnips.com/nsdoc/6b490cf5-bdca-4466-b538-e4157167d172/?action=forceDL

i've managed to play with it but using standard ham3.5 exe but i can say..there are a few new items..and many errors have been fixed concerning npc crashes due to improperly assigned equipment..i havent had to fix those issues as i had in 910...also..numerous of the new weapons from 910 that didnt accept proper attachments..such as the colt iar didnt accept battle scope or ta55..now does as a further example of fixes..so basically from a content standpoint..only a couple new items..one being a very silly firefighters hat..the main focus seems to be thier new vfs integration and exe's..plus the many fixes i mentioned

Clicking the link gets you the "OH NO PLEASE REGISTER" screen. Copy/Paste it and you get to download the file.

The main problem with the lack of coolness values is, that we need to add them your shelfs for every Choice Mod we make. Can tell us the values you would take for these Items?

if you're exclusivly adding these items to enemygunchoices, it matters little what coolness value you pick for them.

It is different with enemyitemchoices: There, the coolness value vaguely determines the progression at which the item becomes most frequently dropped by the AI.

In basic 1.13, the M14-EBR is meant to exist only as the result of a merge, not as a complete item to be bought or found.
This actually means that it does not need a coolness value, but its components do need one, of course.

The problem is, that we have sort the items after its era, a m14 is Vietnam era, and the ebr stock is irak era, so the problem is, if u get enougth progress to get irak era items u are not more able to get a m14. so we gave a coolness value to the EBR-M14 and add it ready to the irak era.

This STI viewer, where can I get it? Do you have any program you recommend? Opening the files with STI Edit only allows me to open one file at a time (at least for the bigitems).

One of the reasons I still won't upgrade to the latest DDB version is the way ammunition is handled.

All ammo mags are gone from BR, and all ammo crates are set to Coolness value 8. That means you need to wait until late game to buy some 9x19mm. The crates are so expensive anyway, that should balance them if you were able to buy certain types early in the game.

Going through the items.xml and reassigning all the crate Coolness values is as tedious as adding back in all the magazines, I've attempted it many times but have always lost interest almost 40 minutes in.

Please, do share any "fixed" files. DBB's usually awful to fix so I'd prefer doing it the lazy way.

Given the history between those two nations ,ninja japanese harpooners wouldn't last too long (5 ninja v 1000000000000 soldiers )unless they were automatic harpoon guns . ( Damn , just gave them another useless addition to DBB) Very Happy

Tbird, the download from esnips worked, as did extraction. It took me a dozen tries to upload the new version of the Hybrid yesterday to esnips, and for some reason it added the text "users&name=" to the file name, that I managed to delete in the final try. COS looks ok in the XMLEditor... unless they are planning some kind of nautical mod to the storyline, one wonders why they included a harpoon gun.
