Sorry the download had the STI's in the wrong map.
Move all the .sti files from the DATA folder to DATA/interface.
I'll correct this.

Is there a fallback system in place? Like when some info is missing for a gun that it will have the standard 4 slot variant working for it?

There is a backup system that draws 4 slots when no XML entries is found.
These slots will however not take any normal attachments, because I want the new system to be independent. (Otherwise the game would have to use the old XML's even while using the new system)
Stuff like launchable's will however still attach to these slots.
EDIT:
I have however made a little program in java that is able to convert the old XML's into new ones for weapons, when used correctly (it's not really an easy thing though).
