Since build 7059 is a few months old and the stracciatella project is no longer running it seems fair to present people with the final build pre compiled for windows, so here it is:

I wasted some time compiling this as it's not user friendly and there's no cc.exe in windows only gcc.exe ... but alas you can try it without wasting your time
and I advise you too: this is quite clearly the superior version of jagged alliance, unfortunately the guy who made it didn't have the right mindset and it still misses some important things but to me this one and wilfire are the superior ones.

Nice, tried your version but it has disappearing enemies after reload bug. here i compiled another
Build 7059hotfix3
changes:
Download hotfix3
just put it in your ja2 folder and run. It doesnt need to be named ja2.exe. If this is the first time playing Stracciatella then read the readme file. (correct path to gamedata needs to be edited in)
Note: for some reason it also opens an extra Dos window, dunno why, can be closed with no consequences.

I edited my above post for hotfix2, added some original files too, like readme and changelog. (and SDL.dll) so its actually a complete package now.
edit: good god, almost uploaded a version with a ChanceToHit mod build-in.

Attitudes will be picked afaik (just check Build/Laptop/IMP_Compile_Character.cc). It's just that most attitudes don't really have a (big) effect in game.
(+updated site again for hotfix3)
