Gem will be the "frontier" on green tech, since German parliament approves to exit nuke energy by 2022. I do hope the gem will create some good green tech to replace all if not beyond their lost nuke energy. If not, gem will be the scapegoat again.

Have you noticed how they leave out a lot of stuff that's present in other games, like personalities for the individual units, and for the most part a story (or at least a scripted narrative). Because there are these gaps, our mind fills in them for us. Imagination's a powerful thing. - NKF

Bill said that when Ron tried to explain to him how the uSA Constitution came from and why it is so important that we must protect her. Simply put, those who do not remember their past are condemned to repeat their mistakes. And few millions people watch his show daily. He is one of the big causes of stupiding the mass down.

To be or not to be was man's question since conception.
I think therefore I am, was man's preception.
But the birth is the ressurection.
The son of God, or God's son, that lights our entire spectrum.
You got everlasting life, long as you got day and night.
Illumination, not education, to bring the blind sight.
And what you need to know is that you'll never know it all.
I'm a lowercase g, son of the ever-living God.

Machiavelli - It is better to be feared than loved.

Machiavelli stated that it would be best to be both loved and feared. But since the two rarely come together, anyone compelled to choose will find greater security in being feared than in being loved.

Edit:

Also,

This is the guy who greatly influenced The United States "founding fathers". In much of Machiavelli's work, it seems that the ruler must adopt unsavory policies for the sake of the continuance of his regime.

better, but still lukewarm - i'd like to advice reading him (and not just a summary of the prince, howie) as most importand people of this time you must see him as a whole microcosmos or would you call da vinci a mere painter? both had of course the convenience of their 'known universe' being much smaller

the last of those champions was probably goethe (his universe had grown significantly) - so it'll be kinda unfair to expect from today's people to be as universally learned as they were. kinda senseless to keep an ancient (greece and even more rome) ideal for 3000 years without enlarging the brain the same way as the knowledge.

as to your founding fathers - i can't think of anyone being able to read AND comprehend not to be 'influenced' by his works.

Only if that ruler, the people's servant, want more the best for himself instead the people. It was most true when people are ignoring of their surrounding back then. With all the booming informations technology out there for anyone to obtain the truth easily. I expect we the people know what really going on and do not let our servant "rule" us.

"There are no safeguards in human nature. We're wired to overreach. Look at history, all the countries that ever ruled the world. Portugal with this big massive navy. All they got now are salt cod and cheap condoms. And the Brits? Now they're just sitting on a danklittle island fussing over their suits. No one's stopping and thinking, "Hey, we're doing pretty well. We got France, we got Poland, we got a big Swiss bank account. You know what? Let's not invade Russia in the winter. When a mediocre scholar hears the Tao,

When a worthless scholar hears the Tao,
