How can I free that reporter from the prison in port Kip?
I tried attacking the local police, and freed her, but my mercs didn't seem to like that at all... so I have abandoned it and moved forward without freeing her.

Any help on this would be appreciated...

I have another question and don't want to start another thread...
Is there a pilot in this game? If yes where could I find him? i tried searching in the place where he was in JA2, but no success...

 Hey,

1.Reporter

No need to waste the cops and take the morale hit.
It bugged me also the first time i had to deal with it, but in the old Ja time factions were not as easy to set/switch as today. So they count as "civillian" which is bad to kill.
You only need a pack of TNT or a pipe bomb.
Just place it at the outer corner of the reporters cell(quicksave before!) and she can just walk out through the hole, no fuss at all.
If she gets hurt reload your quicksave and place the TNT diagonal to the corner instead of the wall, works 100%.

Thank you for the advice!

Sadly I have wasted the cops in that sector... I have thought of exploding the wall but I also thought that if I have done that the cops would see me as an enemy as well... Well I can't do anything to change that...

The only person I have met near the airport is an old man... could that be the pilot? I keep chatting with him but nothing happens :\ Must I talk with a merc who has high leadership or is that the wrong person?
