Need help installing new images.[message #264146]

I have installed new images to replaces faces in my game(vanilla ja2) with no problem.
It was as easy has making my own folders in Data;Faces>33face/65face/bigfaces.

I am now trying to install new images for some guns, with no success.
I export gun30 from "BigItems.slf".
I modify the image.
Where do I put the new/replacement image? I've tried to make a folder in Data named BIGITEMS>BigItems>GUN30>GUN30sti.
What am I doing wrong?
I have been searching and readin all of this sight for 2 days...
Help??

*** One must also include replacements from "BigItems, Interface and tilesets."......
Make new folders in your Data; BigItems, Interface, tilesets.....

I'm posting this in hopes of helping others, the ifo was found here but, took me a couple of days....
