dunno if this is the place for this question, but I was wondering about implementing dart rifles, maybe it would refresh stealth combat a bit? dart rifles would be ranged versions of dart guns already implemented, slow reload time, and using same ammo as dart guns, just with bigger precision and/or range...
was there any suggestions like this before that I missed maybe?
I'd also suggest implementing slings, there's rock in game already, and there's rubber band... nice for distractions with added range in any stance except prone, not thrown from hand, and still could depend on persons strength score (same as arrows)
sry for not having any pics, I could improvise later and make some makeshift slings if needed?

So it is not integrated. Thanks.
The only difference between these guns is barrel length and length overall.
A difference of 33mm in overall length.
A difference of 53mm in barrel length.
Edit:
With better barrel material???
AEK 999 = More compact version of the same power of a Pecheng

More modernized versions of old weapons would be great. I'm playing AIMNAS now so some of these may not exist in vanilla 1.13, but I'm thinking stuff like the
M14 EBR
M21 EBR
M1 Garand EBR (not sure how this is created, maybe an M1 + EBR stock? I found it as an EBR already)
SKS Tactical (SKS + AK modernization kit)
Ideally one could make these via kits like the EBR stock and the AK modernization kit, but if that's too much work then just having the modernized versions around would be enough. The modernization being mainly in what sort of attachments can be mounted, of course, plus maybe added ammo capacity (m1 EBR holds 20 rounds, SKS Tactical holds 30). Ice had to quit using his beloved MG42 because it couldn't mount anything better than a 2x scope on top despite the fact that it can shoot much farther than that. Sure I could use a spotter but that's pretty inefficient.
Even the FN MAG that he now uses maxes out at a 4x scope (I think), as does the M60.
Candidates for modernization:
AVS-36 (love this one, a 7.62x54mmR battle rifle with full auto capability)
Pretty much every LMG, especially pre-1980s
I suppose one could take every small arm from the Cold War and give it this treatment, but lord knows we already have enough modern assault rifles, pistols, and smgs; the only areas I see a really glaring need for it are in LMGs and older DMR-type rifles like the AVS-36 (the Kar 98k, SMLEs, and the Mosin all fit in here as well). Maybe the BAR as well for a US/NATO counterpart to the AVS-36. There's just something really badass about using a weapon with the heart of a tried-and-true, old-school beast underneath all of the hypermodern attachments and polymere.

What about my AR-180B? This rifle was so famous in AR-180 form, the Irish called it the "widowmaker". The AR-180B is the latest version, mine was made in 2008 and it is one of the last. It has a simple gas operated action, and compared to the AR-15 lacks a buffer tube. This allows it the benefit of use of foldable stocks. The lower reciever is polymer, and accepts a standard ar-15 trigger pack so it could use the burst kit in the game. The length of the barrel is 19" inches, and lightweight so not suitable for sustained firing. The weight of the rifle is 6lbs with a 19" barrel!
It uses standard Ar-15/m16 magazines, and should be able to use beta C magazines. This rifle from Armalite combines the reliability of the AK, the ease of use and lightweight of the AR-15, with the functionality of the FAL.
The stats should be somewhere with the damage of the M16, and the AP cost of the FAL. The accuracy is not great at 2 MOA, so it should be about as accurate as an mini-14, or maybe a little better.
