You Germanics might have known it but, I didn't.

The word Fox is fuchs in German.

Yet another Sir-Tech easter egg.

fuchs is a very vulgar word in English.
Germanics

Fox is subtly hinted to be promiscuous. Her name Fox in German turns out to be the word fuchs which coming back to English is a word that describes the act of what promiscuous people tend to do.

isn't that spelled with a 'k', no 'h' and no 's' - you are hunting some pink elephant, don't you?

especially as fuchs is pronounced with a sound similar to the vowel in roof, but a lot shorter

edith:

your germanics (germanen in german) lived some 2500 to 1500 years ago - guess i call you a red indian now (do you want a particular tribe?)

Maybe so....Maybe so....
Never the less, I thought it was quite a coincidence.

And, The descendants of Germanic peoples in Europe roughly correspond to the modern speakers of Germanic languages.

well, if you pronounce it like an american would do, it may be a wee little joke - and a bad one.

why don't you take a little r&r from the forums and hunt some girls (you seem to need it)

germans (including austrians in that case), swiss, dutch, danish, norweian, swedish and half the brits (the other half is latin and french, which is also a romanic language) - you wanted to say that? the english fox IS THE SAME word as the german fuchs (it's not that long they split)

Nah, the callsign Fox is based on the word foxy in the sense of attractive or sexually appealing. The RPC Fox is supposed to be seductive, several of her voice recordings indicate that.

An American (or English) person knows that the (German) word Fuchs is not pronounced f*cks, well most people who had exposure to other cultures would know that. For example the flower fuchsia exists and is pronounced \fy

Fully support Dieter's statement.

And concerning Tao and Logi... well I already wrote what I think of you two back in this thread.

In a way I can understand Logi. You topics, Tao, awake the urge in me to write answers as well (-> positively provoke me), but usually Logi is way faster and all I can do is laugh my ass off reading you two discussing.

Which is why(?) it's called 'renard' in French.

If all else fails with the modding we can always go on writing about words instead. Truly amazing.
