Yeah, I see it when looking very closely.

Probably happened due to recolouring the 255 green background to 255 blue (the "fill area" in PS tends to blend in into close by pixels). Guess I'll have to fix that at some point.

Fixed.

Just noticed this, turn off Anti-Aliasing to remove the unwanted pixel damage from Photoshop Wink

Trick works for any tool that can use Anti-Aliasing for selection of alteration Smile

Adding the central mountains in the region between Cambria and grumm will probably cause problems with the layout of the glued together maps. Dunno yet how to solve that.

Anyways... world map update V10

Whereabouts is this in Photoshop Kaerar? Can't say I've noticed it before, but would be handy.

Ignore that, am familiar with turning it off when using selection, just thought there may be something else in the preferences when editing high bit-depth art that I may have missed.

Would this be the right place to talk about bugs in AIMNAS / WF? I found this and I figured while you probably like us, you probably don't like us enough to give us near-unlimited ammo Razz

This occurred in v15 after I cleared a sector in Alma (top right, I think) and hit Ctrl + Shift + F then Ctrl + Shift + M.

Unfortunately for me it reverted to a normal 200-ammo clip once I dragged it into my merc's inventory :'(

Also, I have a question regarding the merges, especially the gun attachments. Are there any particular benefits to merging, say, a tac. flashlight with a foregrip to make a griplight? I don't see any particular advantages, and it seems to remove the ability to swap attachments as and when I need em (i.e. grippods / bipods).

No. If I understand it right it is a leftover from before NAS.

Sounds like DCA is going to take hours to fight out Razz

Also, more bugs! I'm not sure if they have already been addressed in AIMNAS 2011 so let me know if I'm being redundant here:

http://i.imgur.com/JTeFz.png

There are two issues: one, the attachment slot for the CAWS where my cursor is hovering doesn't mention any specific attachment, and nothing can be attached to it either. Two, the text gets garbled when there's two much of it (see the pro and con at the bottom of the description text), this could be a problem with how JA handles text, I imagine. I'm using 800x600 res.

As far as I know, the CAWS description has always been a line too long. It will fit when using UDB (the successor to EDB) though. So it's no problem for WF2011, just for the current version which isn't compatible to the newer builds.

May I suggest adding a link to Chartner's SCI in the first post. Than we at least can find the lastest WF_AIM before WF2011 project in the latest thread? By the way lovely tiles and neat to look under trucks. I just fear that finding a hiding spot will now become all the more difficult. Wink

Small bug concerning starting gear kits:

When a gun from a starting gear kit is equipped with a c-mag adapter, it only gets a regular mag instead of a c-mag.

If you are asking for the huge map, it's from A6 to C14 if I remember correct. It's the north part of the map, including Omerta and Drassen, but not Chitzena.

I might upload a test package including all the maps I've done so far on wednesday, as I'm out for the weekend and won't get any more maps done from thursday to sunday.

The actual finished version is not yet scheduled. I highly doubt that I will finish the compelte project within a year... although the project title is Wf2011, I'd rather say it is more likely that it will actually become a Wf2013 release... finishing those maps just takes so much time... and real life will have a real tight grasp on my throat from next month on until at least september. So, from April onward I don't expect to put out as many maps as I do at the moment (maybe one or two a week instead of 1 or 2 per day...). Sad

Currently there are like 30 maps done, still at least 200 more to do, also there a still a lot of small things that need to be fixed by coders, and as those are really busy with the spring release, don't expect that everything works as intended. I haven't spent any time on quests yet, cliff maps still cause small problems, exit grid no. for underground maps don't work yet, and there's probably a lot more I haven't even thought about yet... (hardcoded stuff in maps that are still far away... like the grids in Meduna that can be used for the remote control on the statue in the Queens Garden, etc...).

But yeah, as I said in the first paragraph, a test version with those 30 something maps is actually quite possible within the next few days. The maps are still only very basic, don't contain civilians nor items, but they are playable.

Also stuff like movement costs, bloodcat placement, and even stuff like sight range modifiers on scopes need rework... Yeah... this is a full time job, without payment... and also a one-man show... so don't expect any wonders.
