Hallo Chatner,

Chatner
Can someone tell me how I can create item merges?

Please check the "Merges Tutorial" I've uploaded to Kermi's FTP. It was originally posted by Grim some years ago in this forum, but should still be up-to-date.

Last but not least don't forget the Wiki site:

http://ja2v113.pbworks.com/w/page/4218389/XML+-+Merges

Best regards; Schein

Thanks, I realized my mistake by now: I added all the correct informations to that xml but forgot the tag. :headbanger:
Ah well, at least it works now.

Having problems with combine LBE Gear
I found a Vest LBE//GR//UT
I have a set Pouch Set Straps, but i only can divide it.

How to modify?
You need some kind extra attribute, like tape or so?
I tried alot combinations, but i cant get it work.

Quote:
LBE:

- 40mm VOG Grenade Panel + 40mm VOG grenade Panel = VOG Combat Pack
- Mod. Pouches + Mod. Pouches = Mod. Rigs (there are a lot of possible combinations, just try out what works... doesn't work in all possible combinations yet, might change that later on)

- SAW pouch + LBE Gear = SAW LBE
- mod. triple grenade pouch + LBE Gear//SAW LBE = mod. LBE Gear
- mod. utility + LBE Gear = mod. LBE Gear
- mod. first aid pouch + LBE Gear//SAW LBE = mod. LBE Gear

(the LBE Gear//SAW LBE gear can be upgraded until all pocket slots are used)

- 40mm Grenade Rig + 40mm Grenade Rig = 40mm Grenade Panel

- Pouch Straps + several mod. Pouches will seperate the pouches (also works on vests modified with the following merge)

- Belt Type LBE + one of the following vests: Hunter Vest, Biggame Hunter Vest, AK Chest Rig, M23 Chest Rig, Police Utility Vest or Sniper Jacket = modified version

- Pouch Set Straps + Belt LBE => switches the belt to be worn as vest instead of combat pack

Note that you can only add a triple grenade pouch, not single or double pouches. So first you need to merge 3 single pouches, then add them all to the LBE. Works fine here.

@Chatner.
I love the new sounds.

I still have a complain about original silenced sounds. Never liked the clicking.
P90 single silenced was nice.

At the moment i have a P90, Val and some 5.56 Cold.

I love this sound for silenced burst: 9MM MP5SD BURST 3.ogg

I copied those ogg files in a temp folder and change only the single, 3 & 4 burst from the P90 & Val.
Is there an easier way to change those other rifles so they get this sound as well?
So that the Val & P90 and other sileced burst trigger those 9MM MP5SD BURST ?
I tried the XML Editor (XML Editor_0.45) but somehow it not trigger the SOUNDS\WEAPONS\9x19\9mm MP5SD Burst %d.ogg sound.

*Edit

I only get the Val working with the 9MM MP5SD BURST 3.ogg & 9MM MP5SD BURST 4.ogg working.
Somehow the P90 not pick those burst sounds in the data 57 folder.

*Edit

Sometimes having problem removing/chaning Scope 2x, PSO-1 or PGO-7. When change a scope you still see the other scope.
When remove a scope, it's still active (tunnelvision), you still see the attachment, but also see possible attachments.
I need to Shift-F and attach them again.

Not wanna have scopes in Night Time.

Questions about my modified sounds should be posted in my thread, not in this one.
Anyway, you could try to modify the sounds.xml file to assign different sounds to weapons (I have never done this, so I can't tell you what exactly you'd have to do there) or you could replace the files you don't like with copies of the ones you do. The copies just need to be in the correct folder and have the correct name.
If the P90 isn't using the P90 sounds (think that's what you're trying to say) then it's got different sounds assigned to it in the sounds.xml.

As for the scopes, I never noticed that. What exact version are you playing?

I'm unable to replicate the scope bug you mentioned. Does it happen all the time for you? Only with specific weapons?
Also you are not using the latest version of my SCI. Well, whatever is causing that bug probably hasn't been changed, but I'd still suggest to use the latest version (get a backup of your savegames if you want to continue playing with them).

Alternative pics (only if they look good to you)

50 cal - http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/images/Horn50BMGamax.jpg

44 mag - http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/index.php/cName/44-magnum-hollow-point-ammo

40 s&w - http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/index.php/cName/40-sw-fmj-ammo

Hornady makes any kind of ammo, even custom stuff which doesn't really exist, so what I mean is you can always use a Hornady pic as the default - but - if someone else makes the ammo, lets use their pic instead of the default. The same is somewhat true for CorBon, although they specialize in what sells and don't want to just make everything.

(I like that you changed 45 ACP to PMC, that's what I am using :giggle:)

Enemies should drop them from time to time and in the regular WF maps some oil cans can be found as well (workshops are very likely to have some oil cans for example).

I played around with the AIMNAS from Tai's SCI and discovered a possible bug.

I merged the Burris SpeedDot and the Burris AR3X Scope into the SDA aiming module and I was able to attach both the SDA module AND an additional reflex scope to an AR, giving me an additional AP reduction. Is this intended?
