Hi Guys!

After I finally managed to get 1.13 to run, I have now defeated the Drassen Counter Attack.
Before the attack, the mine output was something like 6000. During the battle it was around 2000 and after my victory it's up to 5000 and something.

Please forgive me for not being able to find answers via google or the board-search, but could someone please explain to me, how the mine output is calculated?
A link would be much appreciated aswell.

Thanks in advance.

Base Mine Output * Town Control Percentage * Town Loyalty%
So, if the mine has a base output of 3000, you control 3/4 of the town and loyalty is 68%, then the mine's output will be 3000 * 0.75 * 0.68 = 1530

Not sure where I got this formula from, but it's either in the manual or ingame.

Thx for the answers so far.
The strange thing is, that I control all sectors and loyalty is up to 100%, but still the output is lower than before the DCA. Well, I'll look into it when I'm back home!

Ummm, mine cant run out in the beggining of a game i think. After you get a mine you have to wait like 3-4 weeks til it will start to shut down.

Yo arekone, what's the problem, before the DCA the Drassen mine made $6,000 and afterward it makes $5,000 and some change, is that the question?

To maximize mine income you need to control all sectors related to the mine and the town loyalty needs to be at 100%. If all this is the case and Drassen still doesn't produce as much as you feel it should, then I don't have an explanation. Maybe submit your save game to have someone check if it is a bug.

Some mods will have more sectors looking like they belong to a city, but not all of these sectors influence mine income. In 1.13 Drassen has three sectors, you need to control all three and the loyalty of Drassen needs to be at 100%.

I believe the game chooses one of the mines to run out in the very beginning, this can be controlled by an INI setting. Once you control the chosen mine, and get the message that it will run out, the income will gradually become less until it reaches zero and the mine is declared abandoned (or something like that).

The only thing possible that I can imagine, is that I lost a sector of Drassen during the DCA. But if that was the case, could Drassen's loyalty possibly be at 100% (which it is)?
Also, the relation between one lost sector and only a couple of hundred $ less income doesn't feel right.

Just to be sure, the number of militia stationed in a town does not influence the income, does it?

As I said, I will check everything again when I'm back home.

Thx again so far.

Now I remember that during the main battle, which took place in the southern sector with the mine, one of the enemies ran from my mercs towards the northern sector border.

Yes, this happens when enemy soldiers decide to flee into an adjacent sector. If this sector is a city sector you lose control over it.

I believe if you have militia in the city sector, you can click on the sector to activate the auto combat menu. I forgot if you would still lose control over the city sector even though you had militia in it.
