I went to edit the starting cash and IMP starting attribute point allowance, so I popped open the JA2Options.ini in the \Data folder, made the changes, started a new game... and lo they were not there.

So I hunted around and found the same ini file in both \Data and \Data-UC113. I editted them both to be identical (just in case)... still no luck. I then spotted the INI Edittor and figured maybe that would do it... no love there either.

Which one is the correct ini file to edit? Is there another file I'm just not seeing? Are these values hardcoded? But then, why have then in an ini file?

Note: I'm using Tai's latest "One Click" SCI_UC113v3.53 install over JA2 Gold (no patches) if that makes a difference...

It tells you in the uc faq pdf, either data-uc113oldmaps or data-uc113maps depending on which version you are using.

T Bolt is right.
When you want to play with the new subway maps use the one in data-uc113maps. Otherwise use the one in data-uc113oldmaps.

Wil said that in one of the later releases the folder structure will get cleaned up.
Also there is a thread especially for UC 1.13
UC 1.13 Hybrid

/facepalm

Seriously? I never would have looked in a folder labeled maps.

I hope so. That's a horrible folder setup.... but I guess streamlining the directory takes a backseat to story setup and bug stomping.
