Hey all, I'm a complete newbie here and with Jagged Alliance 2 in general, but I most certainly know what I'm experiencing is strange. Admitidly, installing 1.13 straight into the game before starting a base save probably wasn't a good idea, but I digress. Effectivly, my issue is that whenever one of my mercs starts moving the game lags and if I try moving the camera around whilst a merc is moving it lags and jerks all over the place, but it's all fine when my mercs are standing still or in turn-based mode.

If anyone could give me a hand with this, I'd be very thankful.
I'm using the Steam copy of Jagged Alliance 2 Gold and I've got 1.13 patched onto my game, if that information helps.

If the game 'stutters' when scrolling around try this fix (mentioned by another helpful soul on here)...

Quote:
The stuttering graphics are propably related to activated real-time illumination around your mercs (not sure how exactly this is named in the english version). Hit 'g' to deactivate it, see if that helps.

That removed the camera issues and you have my thanks for that, but I've still got an issue here with the game slowing down to a snails pace in real-time movement mode... it's very strange. I hope I can fix it.
