okay, thanks to pas hancock (aka pasha) i finally got that edt-editor translated

there are newer and in any other respect better editors, but this one allows to paste an entire excel column into a new file (remember there are npc.s with 148 speech-files). every other editor requires to do that line by line which is just a pain in the ass - don't forget to have an empty cell for every not used line in that column.

download the file russian etd-editor .rar (it contains this pic)

what is always annoying when inventing new personnel is that you need a dummy etd-file - so i decided to make those for every empty slot we have and zip them. in the process i found out it's a pain in the ass to scroll in every file you want to replace so i made 'workETD's which have only 12 lines to easily replace them with an excel-column.

readme
dummy etd.s are for testing new personnel
they simply contain subtitles ###_000 to ###_127

just copy them to the folders where you need them ('mercetd' or 'npc-data')
in case of rebels' tour-guide-lines add "d_" as prefix

'workETDs' contains files which have only 12 lines in them which makes it way easier to
overwrite them with a whole excel column (you need empty cells for lines not
used) in the commieETD-editor

have fun

here it is download 'commieETD-editor.rar'

the file also contains the program itself and the pic from above

so if you have a new r/npc "217" just copy 217.etd (from 'dummyETDs')to folders 'mercted' and 'npc-data' to check your scripts - use the one from 'workETDs' to paste in your new subtitels.
