Breaking the subject that's been going here for some time, how about adding Valmet KvKK62? (Right side view)
I'm pretty sure that this belt-fed machinegun in 7.62x39 is not a clone of something already in the mod.
Also, more weapons in 9.3x64 would be nice, although I don't know any specific models (beyond Tigr-9, but that one would be just a clone of SVDK) to suggest. >_>

I make no promises on speed, But i'll volunteer to look into it and see what I can find.
Edit 1: Set up sheet as google Doc so if I am too slow at least what work I've done can be used.
i;ve been using world.guns.ru for many of the weapons, and manufacturer websites for the others.
Spreadsheet view, comments allowed
Stock listings are none, Wire (retracted or folded, with or without buttpad), Composite folded, Fixed, Retractable. I tended to go via weight more than anything since it looks like for many of these we will be guessing the original stock weights.
Weights are also empty weight, with notes on integral items if listed.

Thanks, right now, only the weapons with modular (tactical) stocks need to have their weights checked. In game there are only three modular stocks that need to be accounted for:
AR-15 Fixed Stock = 6 hg
AR-15 Telescopic Stock = 6 hg
AR-15 Precision Stock = 8 hg
So if a real M16 = X hg, and in-game M16 = Y hg, then Y = X - 6
With the exception of the few guns that come with the Precision stock default, the in-game weights must be 6 hg less than real world weights.
AK, SIG's, and G36's currently have a stock modification, so their weights should be checked as well... except should these be standardized as being a certain mass less than their unmodified forms. Is there a standard weight for an AK-47 stock that we should account for?

A few more LBE add-on ideas I got.
I am not sure, but I think there are no bandoliers in the game right now, and the way they work they would be the perfect attachable piece of LBE.
Naturally when you think about those, you think about Clint Eastwood movies where our hero shoots 200 bullets at a time and never even thinks about using those bullets on his bandolier to reload...
But I digress.
There are modern day variants of the bandolier in use by some police forces and some military forces. (Think about a bandoleer for individual shotgun shells, or that badass grenade bandolier Arnie used in T3.
Anyways, bandoleers are still used all around the world, and having your mercs be able to sling a bandoleer across their body is a good way to carry around those shotgun shells or those sniper bullets for guns that don't use clips. And even for guns with mags, there are bandoleers for that too!
And well, it ramps the badassness up to 11 too! That should be reason enough to add it!

El_WrobelI'd like to see pistol stocks(maybe even a fixed and folding variant),could be a universal item, attachable to most pistols. And I don't mean the pistol2carbine,I mean these nasty bastards .
I'm not sure if it won't be too much effort though
Edit: I don't know why the hyperlink won't work,so here http://i.ebayimg.com/t/GLR-17-FAB-Tactical-Stock-for-GLOCK-Jericho-941-/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/$T2eC16F,!yUE9s6NEHTsBQsKE6nziQ~~60_35.JPG
Also,an FMG-9 type weapon would be nice for our covert operatives
Hmm, I personally don't see in how far Pistol-Stocks would be a real change to the pistol2carbine gamewise, apart from being inferior? I mean "p2c" is a pretty low coolness item and getting one is no problem, why would you chose an "inferior product" at the same (low) level?!?
ON the other part: Yes, I agree at least one "weapon out of the box" for each "type" (pistol, smg etc) would be nice for CovertOps guys (even just for the novelty/choice, here, It seems with the DRD Paratus there is one for sniper rifles)
Something else: I don't know if it's intended or a bug or whatever, but the Commando-LMG vest is not reloading LMGs, which makes the "ammo belt" slot on it kinda useless...

Those stocks shouldn't increase size, thus you could holster your weapon without deattaching the stock.
BTW,it's rather easy,I just made one for myself via XML editor, but I agree,it's a very low priority item (if any at all)
As for the cover,easily disassembling weapons,there's one more,a .22LR rifle,but I can't remember it's name,I think it's Armalite.
What LMG are you using? There was one that wasn't belt-fed even though it should be,can't remember what it was though. And I'll check the vest later.

It was the mk48. And I could belt feed it allright with a "loader" and the standard "SAW Vest", just not the Commando-LMG thing...
Yeah,I just checked,it's fucked,it has the belt fed flag instead of belt LBE.
If you wanna fix it,do this:
1. Go to your installation directory, launch XML editor,if it doesn't want to launch copy from Data-Graphics folders that are in capital letters to data-AFS,UC113 or whatever you've got.
Edit. And also change the data directory XMLEditorInit.xml to whatever mod you're using, that is Data_Directory_1,3rd line, via notepad.
2.Press alt+B or choose,from the top,items-show-by class-Load Bearing.
3.Find Commando LBE - LMG,double click it
4.Choose attributes,in the right column there'll be Flags drop down menu, click it and change from belt fed to belt LBE.
5.Save,check if works
