when u have someone with damaged stats, and assign a paramedic to heal, that person instantly gains some stats before u start time compression.
when u have C4 with a remote detonator on it and its damaged and u get someone to repair it before the person is completely finished repairing all gear u get about 6 - 12+ msges that ur person is repairing all carried heavy items, can gain mech + dex easily through just damaging one C4 with remote detonator and keep repairing.

any others?

1. nope, it only happens if you agree to perform surgery BEFORE patching them up, that means those stats are upped for the surgey and not the bandaging - you may, however, complain to sandro that surgery takes no time. let someone operate severall wounded and watch the medi-boxes

2. repairing is a process you get those points added when your merc reaches the next 'level' - got nothing todo with c4. it's not like a medal that is awarded AFTER an action has taken place. blowing up not needed gear and repairing it always let your mercs gain stats.

if you think its going too fast (i agree on that one) you may want to examine the ini for related lines and up related figures significantly.

im not complaining, its nice to raise dex + mech fast, how u mean u get the points after a level?
not sure how it works but u can easily damage the C4 + det which puts that long line of repairs into effect which after each line u get a bit of skill, not sure if it works if u damage something else, i think it might.

ah didnt know about that surgery one.

if you repaired enough stuff for the next mech-point you get it - it is irrelevant whether you still have stuff to repair

yah im talking about the : finished repairing everyone's large carried items.
it appears around a dozen times and u get skill points for it, even tho i only have 6 members in the group and area, and u get skill points for dex and mech every time that message appears. even if everything else in the groups bags are fully repaired except for the C4 and remote det.

that comes from sth else. the new repair sytem has those lines not adjusted. under the old system stuff was repaired according to the slot it was in - the new one repairs after importance and those messages are spilled all over the place. if you have several items in one slot those are repaired 'layer-wise' -> it looks like only the c4 (just one in a very small slot, i bet) is not yet repaired.

so when that line appears, its just saying that that item (in this case the C4 and det) has been repaired a little bit, and so on?

i don't know what it says - i do know, however, that this line is meaningless under the new system
