On an unrelated note I don't understand why there are some weapons that can't fit in any pockets, not even the main weapon pocket. I understand that it might be there to limit gamey tactics of having one big gun in your hand and another in that pocket, but I think that the weight of these big guns is enough of a deterrent already, plus I like having nothing in my mercs hands when I'm in a calm sector and that's sth I just can't do if my main gun doesn't fit in my gun pocket.
That said, I still was ok with it until I decided to give my sniper the sniper backpack to store her rifle, I thought I'd keep an mp7 in her main gun pocket and keep the sniper in the backpack, I can't access the backpack in combat so it would be a good way to be more methodical and all(though being able to access the backpack albeit at a very high ap cost would make more sense imo), then I try to put her osv-96 in the backpack only to find out it doesn't fit in the sniper pocket... what's the point of a sniper pocket then?
I wouldn't mind if the big guns needed to be taken apart or whatever to fit in the pocket(this is probably possible with HAM5), I think it would make sense anyway that these guns need to be prepared before you use them and that's why there are sidearms for those ambushes, but I just can't understand the reasoning of not being able to fit them anywhere.
PS Smeagol, can you maybe tell me what I need to alter to make it possible for the osv-96 to fit in the sniper pocket?
EDIT: Its ok, I think I found out how to do it myself.

DepressivesBrotYou can't just take a rifle apart and expect it to hit after putting it back together. And a 10kg MAG is peanuts for a guy like Grizzly, that doesn't make it any less unwieldy and restrictive when moving around.
Edit: We could use a carry frame for oversized cannons though, we even discussed it when revising sizes ... @smeag did you drop the idea or did you just forget it (as usual ) Well, I do take my inspiration for that idea from movies, so I don't really know how accurate it is, seems to make sense though. And Grizzly is like the exception anyway, not that I would ever give an FN MAG to Grizzly, he is a heavy weapons dude.
Anyway, carry frames sound good too, just sth that would make a bit more sense than what's going on now.
