1. Reuban and Skits charge 500 daily. They are total crap, no agility, no wisdom, lvl1, no gear.
Someone care to explain why they are 10x more expensive then, say Rosebud?

2. Rosebud has 85 mechanical, isnt that a little too much for v. cheap merc, with gorilla intellect?

3. Is anyone buying the more expensive mercenaries or you go into high numbers with a lot of cannon fodder?

1. The guys are insane! Isn't that a good enough explanation? If you like insane characters, they are worth every dollar and their price doesn't rise when they level up. I used them in my fighting teams and leveled them up to 7 or 8, which makes them pretty good fighters. Of course they needed some guardian angel at first to protect their back (and front too Very Happy ).

2. Rosebud's mechanical is fine for an airport mechanic, I think. Maybe his price is too low because he's too dumb to understand his true value?

3. I went with mid-priced aims (ex. Thor, Trevor, Ice) combined with every rpc I could find. And of course Razor&Haywire...

Are you talking about UC or UC1.13 btw? Nobody is working on the former anymore and the one responsible for the latter hardly visits this sub forum as he has his own in the 1.13 section.

Reuban, Postie and Skitz (see my sig) are THE reason i play UC again every now and then. And the fit very nicely with Razor and Haywire indeed. At that, i seriously prefer original to the ... new one.

i play UC fast, so the cost is no problem - there is even too much gold in the banks. i use 8 or 10 fighters - start with 1-2 from AIM, no IMP, mostly locals, Razor and Haywire from MERC. i do not attack SAM sites or mines, my only aim is to kill the queen in 14 days. it is a challenge, but doable in original UC. not so in latest version - so for me it's a f!up. if i want something hard and slow, i play Night Ops...
