These days I'm working on ARSP game pack, and now, I'll release a v1.80.

01, What's this?
This a all-in-one game pack as you can see. It includes 8 versions of ja2:
0 ... CN SVN
1 ... CN SVN+IOV
2 ... CN SVN+WFMAP
3 ... CN SVN+IOV+WFMAP
4 ... EN SVN
5 ... EN SVN+IOV
6 ... EN SVN+WFMAP
7 ... EN SVN+IOV+WFMAP
8 ... EN SVN+UB
CN means Language in Chinese;
EN means Language in English;
IOV means include Daboboye's IOV;
WFMAP means include WF MAPS;
UB means...you know it!
All these version can be easily swithed by selecting the cresponding scroll list.
All these version based on ARSP LAUNCHER's funticions.

02, What's ARSP LAUNCHER?
This is the All resolutions support project launcher.
I made this launcher when i finished the multi resolutions works together with wanne.
This launcher not only can switch multi version of this game, it can also:
a. switch your monitor from 32bit to 16bit, or 16bit to 32bit.
b. switch game start style, such as automaticly start last selected game in serval seconds.
c. switch from fullscreen to windows.
d. switch from normal game to insane insane version. This mod original made by 老猫dgcxy in TBS forum. This mod changed ini, and made enimies more than normal! Plenty of them! Lots of them!

Above are some pics I made.
The ARSP game pack used my interface by default.
So you can see the mainmenu, option menu, credits menu etc, have been changed.

04, How to install?
a. you need an game of 1.12 clean version. no svn, no 1.13, just 1.12 gold version.
b. down 1.80 version of ARSP, and overwrite 1.80 to 1.12.
c. in 1.80(1.12 also, now) game dir, rename "_铁血联盟-铁资网-中英文大合集整合包_主菜单.EXE" to any name you like, such as "ARSP.EXE", then run it!
d. if your system give you an error running ARSP.exe, install .net framework 4 plz.
I made this laucher using .net framework version 4, so you need this to let it run.

e. When open the ARSP menu, first find the 2nd scroll named LANGUAGE xxx, changed it to ENGLISH, press OK, now you get English version of ARSP.
1st scroll: switch from normal difficulty of the game to INSANE INSANE version.
2nd scroll: switch from Chinese to English version of ARSP's interface language.
3rd scroll: switch all resolutions.
4th scroll: switch from all 8 versions of the game.
REMEMBER: after select any one, you muse click the OK button right.

05, last, here is the download links provide from China, don't confused by the file name, you just downloaded it and rename this to any name you like it. I made all these for my Chinese friends originally, so you know...

Today, after couple days of thinking, I name this project as ARSP:
All Resolution Support Project!

Yeah, This project just make this game fit almost any common resolution!
Of course, i can't make a 320x240 or some thing like this, it's no meaning.
All i can do is to make this game support almost any resolution above 640x480.

How i did it?
1, change the source code.
2, redesign the interface menu.

I made this based on the lastest stable version of SVN v1359.
I didn't kown the develop version of SVN.
So if you wanna play ARSP, you have to update(or downgrade) your game to 1359.

I've make a playable version of the famous Tigerscripe interface.
Plus the 6 female IMP with full camo support.(I did the camo works).

OK, now i've finished nearly all the source code work and all the interface stis.

It works perfect now in my test.

But i'm too tired now to clear the file changed list and submit to SVN, maybe later.

As for the public test, trust me, it wont be long, maybe just a day or two.

I've fix the map border problem, and another bug i found.

Pack and uploading, just wait and see.

By the way, for original svn only !!! No other Mod !!! And Svn game should be the lastest!

I've played JA2 for about 11 years, and build up a Chinese JA2 forum since 2003.

In my eyes, JA2 is a fantansy game, it's part of my life!

I remember there's no wild screen version of JA2 before, so i did this.

And i must say, this is NOT an end, this is a beginning!

I'm try making a full-resolution version of the latest SVN.

Before i finish that, there's lots of test should be done, i ask for your help, for your test, for your advice.

1024x600 for those who use a netbook
1280x720 for 16:9
1280x800 for 16:10

will release in a couple of days, or weeks if i short of time.

I throw away 640x480, and begin with 800x600,until 1360x768.

By now, i've finished mainmenu, credit, option, multiplay, startnewgame, loadingscreen, netbook screen.

it's just a matter of time when i release another update patch which contain all 6 resolution above.

Is there a specific reason you dropped 640x480? I don't mind personally, but it could become an issue when/if this is supposed to be some day integrated into the main project.

I made this nearly-full-resolution version based on 800x600 gui.

And trust me, with all these resolution, almost no none will need 640x480 again.

Love the project. Sounds like you might release source code? I'm currently on using my own mod so cannot use this yet but a patch file would be killer. I currently have to use windowed due to stretching and then windowed forces 16-bit on me which I hate so this would be great.

One non-standard resolution not covered 1600x1024. Can't say I've seen that too much but my card supports it.

As for wf, it need'nt a special exe, just use the 113 exe, it will ok.

I'll try release the full resolution version in a day or two, we'll see.

Nearly all the GUI part have been done!

Only a few bugs left needed to be fixed in a few days.

It's about mouse region, and vieport refreshing etc.

By the way, I've put two hours to bring 640x480 back.

OK, I've released v1.40 in China plus IOV926FSSbeta4.

I'll soon make an EN version of this and put a link here.

By the way, IOV is a perfect MOD, wahahha ,so many weapons !

I've packed the lastest IOV in my patchv1.40, and you may try it!

I'll soon make an EN version of this and put a link here.
Would you please release a clean version as well (if you didn't plan to anyway)? Nothing against IoV, but we have two other major and excellent mods to chose from and some alterations in the IoV code won't mix well with them.

OK, i'll release clean version then.

This version build for SVN game v1359, not tested with other version.

So i suggest update your game to SVN v1359 first.

And i set default resolution in JA2.ini with 1024x768 fullscreen.

If you wanna other resolution (oh yeah, why not? for so many years?!!) ,just open JA2.ini.

And chose from 20+ resolution you like.

If you wanna windowed mod ,just change your monitor to 16bi, and edit JA2.ini proper part.

In this 7z, there are 2 exe, one is for normal SVN v1359, the other is for UB.

To change UB's resolution, edit JA2UB.INI.

After editing, just click and play!

This version is a beginning and not end, so i'll keep on beautifying this.

Dont' worry, what we need is just time.

Doesn't work and it crashes on startup for me using the latest 1.13 svn 4870

Trying to find svn 1359, anyone have a link, I come up empty?

That's why it says SVN, you need an SVN tool (TortoiseSVN or similar) to keep track of it and bulk download stuff.

Never knew about that Tortoise program till now.

Got it installed and does work fine with this old version of 1.13. Very cool having high res, so nice to have a huge screen area.

Eh, this 1.40sp2 IS built with the lastest 1.13 v1359.

For those who stick to old interface, i'm making an more "original like" version.

And i think to divide all resolution into 3 parts:

1, 640x480
2, 800x600,1024x600,1280x720
3, all others

So, part 1 use "640x480" interface, part 2 use "800x600" interface, part 3 use "1024x768" interface.
