Does anyone know what can cause short freezes in the game. About 1-2 second freezes. I am playing ja2 with 1.13.

What version of 1.13 exactly?

And You'd better seek aid with 1.13 in the 1.13HQ next door. Because i'm not sure if 1.13's gurus do read here ...

I guess freezes are bout my computer being old or faulty. Probly not about game.

Is there a reason for your using a medieval version? We are at 4870/5058 (Release/Development).

I solved the problem by uninstalling and installing again.

New version has suppression. Item description has three pages. Enemies keep talking. I don't like these.
It is just i played an old version for too long and i got used to it.

Are 60 enemies with 10 elites normal in drassen counter attack? I am playing in experienced and getting my back kicked badly.

Turn them off in the ini .

Also you can turn this off , but when you beat the bassas , what a feeling !

Well, maybe the 1.13 and EXE version arjunaone is using can be called "medieval", but personally I understand what he means there and that makes him sympathetic to me! Smile

I have some good playing and modding experiences with some older (but innovative!) EXE files for example with "SpaceViking's Many mercenaries: B007c" (=2445 EXE) and "Sandro's Mod: v0.9e" (=2736 EXE) and I'm sure I will play (and release?) any mod on the basis of either of them someday to get the original v1.13 feeling back.
