This thread is a central point where people can find and discuss my SCI's (Single Click Installers (they're just archives though so not that much single click...))

Part 1 and 2 have reached their readable page limit so time to start this Part 3, I will only update the information in this thread

[color:#FF0000]NOTICE: All my releases are based upon possibly unstable code, do not PM the 1.13 team if you run into problems with my SCI's, if you are running these SCI's you should be able to diagnose the problems by yourself, if not come to the IRC channel that's in my signature with questions or problems, if you still dont find a solution PM ME, in both the IRC and PM case have patience, it could take a while to get an answer
ALSO ALWAYS MENTION THE VERSION OF THE SCI YOU ARE RUNNING AND THAT IT'S A TAIS UNOFFICIAL SCI
NEITHER THE OFFICIAL 1.13 TEAM NOR I WILL TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THESE RELEASES

Does what it says, report bugs there ---> Bug Reporting Thread <--- Does what it says, report bugs there

[color:#3366FF]1.13 SVN ([color:#FF0000]ONLY GET THIS IF YOU DONT MIND RUNNING INTO BUGS)
[color:#009900]Current version: SCI_113SVN_r5280_20120516.7z (Updated 16 May 2012)
The Vanilla 1.13 Unstable version SCI, this is based upon the newest beta code of 1.13 so it will include bugs, by using this you are helping to make 1.13 more stable and as reward you will be able to play with the newest features!

Notes:
 • If you dont mind running into problems or incompatibilities run this one if not run the Official release version which is more stable.
 • Renamed this from Unstable to SVN, same story applies to this as the previous versions, also moved this to a new folder (SVN) on kermi's ftp
[color:#3366FF]smeagols AIMNAS (Wildfire/AIMNAS)
[color:#009900]Current version: SCI_AIMNASv20_4561_20110709_fixed.7z (Updated 9 July 2011)
This SCI is for easy installation of smeagol's AIMNAS mod, this mod changes maps, items and other parts of Ja2.

Notes:
 • This is the Official SCI for AIMNAS/WF
 • Upped a fixed version cause i somehow forgot to disable NCTH, dont redownload the whole v20 if you already have it, just disable NCTH in the options screen
[color:#3366FF]wil473's Urban Chaos 1.13 (UC1.13)
[color:#009900]Current version: SCI_UC113v3.61_r4915_20120207.7z (Updated 7 February 2012)(SINGLE FILE NOW)
This SCI is for easy installation of wil473's Urban Chaos modification for 1.13, this brings together the best of UC and 1.13.

Notes:
 • to much to put in here..

Download
all these SCI's can be found here
I've nicely categorized them in separate folders so it's easy to find them

Installation
- A clean install of Ja2, always make a copy of this directory so you won't have to reinstall when things go bad or you want to start clean
- Extract the contents of the SCI over the contents of the Ja2 installation directory, overwrite files when asked
- run ja2.exe and play!

if you have any problems with getting the SCI to run post ur questions here, if you see bugs in the mods please post them here!

Hi Tais.
Tais

Installation
- A clean install of Ja2, always make a copy of this directory so you won't have to reinstall when things go bad or you want to start clean
- Extract the contents of the SCI over the contents of the Ja2 installation directory, overwrite files when asked
- run ja2.exe and play!

I have 2 clean versions - JA2 1.10 and a JA2 Gold with 1.12 patch (fresh installed). Both are workable just fine.

But I have a strange problem with the SCI.
SCI is working fine. No errors. But InGame everything is like in slowmotion, looks like heavy lags like you're playing BF3 on maximum graphic settings.
In the Laptop interface every folder (not site "Downloading") is opening with a delay. For example on the AIM site when the video-phone interface pop-up.

I dowloaded both versions availible - 4968 and 5066. Tried to install them on both clean versions - 1.10 and Gold. Same thing.

What am I doing wrong?

@dimitri: open the ja2_options.ini and search for the "Clock Settings" section. there are a few properties which allow you to adjust game speed.

That my friend is a warning sign of either a dying HD or a problem with the HD's caching. Either way, aim to backup and replace ASAP IMO.

Its also possible that you have different ja2_options.ini on E:\ vs C:\ and you are running on defaulted values. I think code defaults CLOCK_SPEED_PERCENT to 100 while INI defaults to 150 or so. That would cause noticeable slowdowns.

Dont forget to check profiles directory as you may have a ja2_options.ini override in your profile.

Is a new game necessary for the latest SCI when updating from 5066 to 5088?

I'm getting the following error when trying to load my save game:
Internal error in reading mercenary (MAX_NUMBER_PLAYER_MERCS) /Vehicle (MAX_NUMBER_PLAYER_VEHICLES) slots from Savegame:number of slots in Savegame (-15) differs from defined slots in ja2_options.ini (38)

Since I'm also using AIMNAS v21, I know my ja2_options.ini hasn't changed (and I added the missing lines due to the recent revisions that moved some of the menu options to the .ini's).

I believe I have thanked you at least once before in some other thread, but I need to do so again. I come back to JA every year or so and every time I find myself having to relearn everything about the game. I remember what a nightmare installing 1.13 and compatible mods used to be for me before you started doing these single click installs and now, how smooth the process is. I thank you profusely for the hours of frustration you save me from.

It's not odd, it's just big.
Some attachments look bad in a regular slot, not sure if the HEZI takes one of them though.

Yupp
- you can't find them, so you must rely on the logistics train
- they are a consumable
- even the lightest shotgun together with the ammo is far heavier than a kit
- they also take much more space than the one small pocket
- they are loud

All in all, there's sadly no real advantage in using them over either a skilled mechanic or brute force.

Was it fixed very recently that you can launch the game windowed without switching to a 16bpp color depth first? I could have sworn I tried it on the r5207 SCI earlier and it worked, but now I'm playing AIMNAS on r5171, and I get the "Jagged Alliance 2 v1.13 windowed mode requires a color depth of 16bpp or less" message again.

You sure? Just tried on r5207 and got the usual error. Besides, that's not a simple fix you could throw in between lunch and coffee - that's really nasty stuff down in the graphics department.
