Hello everyone!
I am enjoying JABiA...finally after so many years!!!

Can someone PLEASE explain to me what is a Gunslinger?
-I read the description but it still does not makes sense to me.

Also, what weapons (and/or weapon types) would be best for this skill [gunslinger]?

Gunslinger gives a bonus on firing from hip (running stance).
Best gun would be a shotgun followed by a MP/SMG (as those 2 types of guns are relatively accurate fired from hip).

the mod Combat Evolved actually gives you the math behind those skills, and I think for gunslingers they get a fifty percent accuracy bonus firing from hip. Firing from hip is the least accurate, so the math might be something like marksmanship - 20 for run stance + laser sight bonus 15 = x....

Well, gunslingers would only lose 10 for teh run stance. It's still a penalty, but just not as much, and with the shotgun, which has minimal running stance penalty anyway, you're doing pretty well.

Wolf, in particular. Morale is MUCH more important in BIA than it ever was in JA2. If you hire Wolf and Fox as a start pair, Wolf is invinceable with his shotgun. Because in run stance he fires after breaching a door in .43 seconds, or .56 seconds.... very fast. Since he gets 50% accuracy from gunslinger, and 10% accuracy and damage from shotguns, and 20% to skill checks because his morale will be very good since he and Fox are together.... needless to say, Wolf is a one man killing machine for the first few sectors. And he does everything else good too. Starts with 48 medical...spend two points there he can use small medkit.... has high mechanical already, and you can also spend 12 points or so on explosives to make him handy with timed C4 and defusing....

Wolf is probably the best starting merc on the game, that is affordable and has those great traits.
