There's this one dude you can hire from MERC. Razor. One of the psychos and a knifing expert. He starts off with very high dexterity, agility, strength, decent health. Basically a perfect combat merc in every way except for only 50 marksmanship but you can build that up. One thing that puzzles me is that he catches on really quick despite only 53 wisdom. I have him up to 78 marksmanship and I hadn't even captured my 3rd city yet...

Razor is cool. He teams up nicely with Fidel and Haywire. This is a full psycho team of buddies. Razor, like all psychos, get a flat 15% bonus on chance to hit in the vanilla rule set. My guess is, more hits yield more experience in marksmanship. And the low skill value makes learning easier. This combination might dominate the wisdom factor on the experience gain.

Also,

He demands the least amount of sleep of any merc.

Yeah, another thing about psychos is of course you don't want to fool to much with giving them automatic weapons. I mainly equip the psychos with SKS's. Seems to be the best no burst fire weapon.

AFAIK while using new traits, if a psycho merc can't go "psycho" with weapon in hand, his morale drops.

Which is a total non-issue assuming the original poster did get the forum right.
